My TimKon ‘Would You Fall in Love with Me Again’ Animatic
(If i could make animatics :/)
Notes: The roles of Ody and Pen aren’t perfectly assigned bc Tim’s the one who changed but Kon’s the one who was gone, don’t worry, it’ll make sense.
Kon has returned to his normal time/place/life and has been thoroughly checked for being the real, original, correct universe Kon-El. Now, at last, Tim is able to go see him, and reunite with his lost love.
Is it you? Have my prayers been answered? Is it really you standing there or am I dreaming once more?
Tim says all of this with bated breath, not delivering the wild, enthusiastic welcome Kon had been expecting. Kon can tell something is wrong, as can everyone else in the room (I imagine perhaps Superman and dick and/or bruce)
You look different. Your eyes look tired. Your frame is lighter, your smile torn. Is it really you my love?
Kon can see that Tim looks like hell and he is slowly trying to piece together what has happened (I imagine that last part is met with some surprise, as few is any people outside of yj knew of Tim and Kon’s relationship or at least how serious it was)
I am not the man you fell in love with. I am not the man you once adored. I am not your kind and gentle husband. And I am not the love you knew before Would you fall in love with me again? If you knew all I’ve done. The things I can not change, would you love me all the same?
This section focuses on Tim alone, face shrouded in shadow or just tight and anxious. Perhaps one of those cool animations of the camera moving around the central figure (note that words like husband do not have to be taken literally here, because animatic. There will be a whole section like this later)
I know that you’ve been waiting, waiting for love. …What kind of things did you do?
Kon is starting to process that something went very wrong while he was gone. He is getting scared, steps closer, and makes himself ask because he needs to know Tim is okay.
Left a trail of red on every island, as I traded friends like objects I could use. Hurt more lives than I can count on my hands, but all of that was to bring me back to you.
This part might be one of those sections that writes the lyrics on screen to alter them. The first sentence shows Tim’s time with the LoA (note that I don’t subscribe to the belief that Tim like murdered a bunch of people, even if it’s cool to think about sometimes) and say ‘traded PEOPLE like objects…’ because to be fair it was mostly the LoA and stuff that he was using, he didn’t trade friends’ literal lives the way Ody did. The second part would be a big motif of the most obvious thing, the cloning. A literal shot of just Tim, looking miserable, and in the background all around him half-transparent parts of his lab and experiments. (Still Tim below)
So tell me, would you fall in love with me again? If you knew all I’ve done. The things I can’t undo, I am not the man you knew. I know that you’ve been waiting, waiting…
This part mirrors the first chorus with my fun camera spinning thing but this time focusing on both Tim and Kon standing close to one another, both looking utterly grief stricken.
If that’s true, could you do me a favor? Just a moment of labor that would bring me some peace? See that wedding bed? Could you carry it over? Lift it high on your shoulders and take it far away from here?
This is obviously the least literal part. I imagine the camera goes to Kon for a second to indicate who is ‘speaking’ then shifts to the YJ cave. I haven’t worked out all the kinks for this but I imagine something like maybe a bed because Kon considers it the first real home he had where he was welcomed and wanted by loved ones before Superman and the Kents go involved/got their shit together, something with their initials or the Superboy and Robin symbols carved into it.
How could you say this? I had built that wedding bed with my blood and sweat. Carved it into the olive tree where we first met. A symbol of our love everlasting, do you realize what you have asked me? The only way to move it is to cut it from its roots!
This part is a lot, obv. The first sentence, a short of present Tim, horrified. Second sentence shows a quick shot of a younger Tim and Kon, Kon’s eyes lighting up with laser vision for a second only for Tim to stop him and carve it into the whatever (bed, smth) himself. The third sentence not a shot of that specific place but the round table in the cave with Tornado and the whole YJ team. ‘A symbol of your love everlasting’ shows a young Tim and Kon looking smitten, ‘do you realize what your have asked me’ hard cuts back to present Tim, finally showing some energy as he gets terribly angry. (Note: maybe a quick shot of spectators before the last sentence but maybe not). Last sentence shows that shot of young Tim and Kon looking smitten getting torn in half, revealing the shot of the whole team which also gets torn in half.
Only my husband knew that, so I guess that makes him you!
Kon needs to match Tim’s energy here as he finally sees his Rob light up the way he used to be, fiery and free.
Penelope…
Tim frozen in shock, staring at Kon
I will fall in love with you over and over again, I don’t care how, where, or when. No matter how long it’s been, you’re mine! Don’t tell me you’re not the same person, you’re always my husband and I’ve been waiting…
Kon grabs Tim’s shoulders (you know the cliche pose) getting close to him and speaking vehemently. Maybe some shots of them over the years, canon or headcanon moments of when they fell in love. Emphasize Kon’s vehemence on the ‘you’re mine’ cus im a slut for that, and maybe Kon shakes his head on ‘don’t tell me you’re not the same person’
Waiting… Penelope…
Not writing out this whole section cus I’m not copy pasting the lyrics here I’m recording them as I listen. This is a collage of them, colors and moments all around them or snapshots of their past, maybe chronologically and having at least one shot of each of them while Kon was ‘dead’
For you…
As he says this, Kon finally grabs Tim and kisses him. He sweeps him up in a massive hug off the ground as the music peaks, they hold each other desperately close (i mean draw creases on the back of their clothing type shit). I’m also debating, because I dont have much knowledge of canon alternate universities in the comics, if there would be content enough to show alternate versions of them holding each other because they fall in love in every lifetime. As the music calms, Kon gently returns them back to the ground, pulling far enough away to press their forehead together
How long has it been?
Kon asks this, still not entirely sure how long he was gone
Twenty Years
Obv its different, it dont remember the canon time Kon was gone/dead, but ideally it would be shown in month, week, day, hour format bc Tim is normal (for bonus angst do the amount of irl time he was dead cus that was prolly way longer
I love you
Need I even say anything? Holding each other close, they’re both finally smiling
#im so normal about epic#and TimKon#cant you tell?#tim drake#kon el#timkon#yj98#epic#epic the musical#epic ithaca saga#this isn’t the heartfelt love letter to Jorge i was gonna post today but honestly it feels close#because you can tell in this post how normal i am#idk what this is#but its beautiful#might actually start drawing again to make one or two frames for this

First Time Fears 18+
Request: Could you do a request for Will Halstead where the reader is nervous about sleeping with him since she's still a virgin if that's okay with you
Pairings: Will Halstead x Reader
Warnings: fluff, angst, smut
Masterlist
A/N: thank you @bellarkeselection for requesting it. I love Will and wish he got more love.
A/N 2: @talesofreading and @imagine-all-the-fandoms prepare yourself it's a steamy one.
It's funny how fear can stop you from doing things that you really want. For example, you want to sleep with your boyfriend, Will Halstead, but the fact that you are a virgin and scared to get too intimate with him has stopped you. Stopped you every time. You're so self-conscious about it that whenever it gets brought up or you get to that point you close up and run away. You hated that you got this way. Will is a lovely boyfriend. He takes care of you when you're sick or just had a bad day. He cooks most of the time, you cook too but it’s not as good as his even if he goes on a health kick. It didn’t help that you worked with his brother and he kept asking how your relationship was with Will, it was lovely you had nothing to worry about but it tends to freeze when it comes to intimacy. You met Will when you and Jay Halstead, Will’s brother, had gone to the hospital to question a witness that had been brought in after an attack. When you both looked at each other you both knew it was love at first sight, from that day on you both exchanged numbers and began talking and about 4 months of talking and him taking you on dates he asked you to be his girlfriend and you said yes.
Currently you were out with your friends that you had come to grow and love when you moved to Chicago 8 years ago. You 3 had been chatting nonstop about everything and then it came to the topic of sex. Audrey was married to an accountant, Samantha was engaged to a teacher, and Jenna had a mechanic boyfriend and of course there was you who had a doctor boyfriend, everyone was jealous of you since you had a doctor as a boyfriend. “Oh my gosh Josh and I had the best sex last night.” Audrey said.
“Oh, do tell.” Samantha said, propping her elbows up and sipping her coffee.
“He tried this new thing with his tongue and oh my gosh it had me seeing stars.” Audrey said as the others leaned forward to listen but you sat back and became quiet.
“Did you do anything to return the favor?” Jenna asked
“Oh, you know it.” Audrey said and now you were hoping for a phone call to be called into work not wanting to spend another second talking about sex life. You wanted to have sex with Will but you were afraid, afraid that something would go wrong and that it would hurt. You knew it would hurt some but after reading people’s experience online and some said that they didn't recover for a month you got scared and clammed up. “So, what about you and Will?” Audrey asked and you were so out of it that you didn’t even hear your name.
“Huh?” You asked
“I asked how your and Will’s sex life was.” She said and everyone was now looking at you and suddenly you became self-conscious.
“We haven’t had any sex yet.” You said and they all gasped.
“Are you two, ok? You’ve been together for 7 months?” Samantha asked
“It’ll be 8 months this Wednesday. We’re good, everything is great. We’ve both been so busy. Me working a huge case and him having multiple night shifts we just haven’t found the time.” You said even though most of it was a lie but also the truth. You weren’t going to tell them you’re a virgin nobody knew except your doctor. There is nothing wrong with wanting to wait or being a virgin but it doesn't help your self-consciousness any. Before they could even answer your phone was buzzing and you grabbed it and it was Jay telling you that you needed to come in. “I’m sorry to cut this short but I have to go to work.” You said and everyone protested. “Hey, someone has to keep this city safe.” You said chuckling.
“Fine, you get a pass. Now go and keep our asses safe.” Jenna said and you chuckled and got up and placed some money down for your share.
“I’ll text you all later. Bye!” You said as you put on your coat because of course it was snowing.
“You better or I’m hunting you down.” Samantha said and everyone chuckled but agreed.
“I will.” You said
“Good now shoo.” She said and you smiled and hugged them and then you were out the door. You pulled out your phone and called Jay.
“You saved my ass.” You said when he answered and he chuckled.
“You’re welcome. You on your way?” He asked as you got to your car.
“Yup, just got into my car.” You said as you opened your door and got in and shut it. You got your keys and turned the car on and was met with the heat.
“Good. Be safe getting here. Roads are slick.” He said and you smiled.
“I will be. See you in a second.” You said
“See you.” He said and then you both hung up the phone.
You pulled out of the parking lot and headed off towards the precinct. You slid a few times but nothing to cause you to lose absolute control of your vehicle. When you arrived in the parking lot you sighed and stayed there for a minute and then your phone was ringing and you were quick to find it and look at the name and you smiled when you saw that Will was calling you.
“Hey, Babe.” You said smiling.
“Hey, Baby. Are you still out with your friends?” He asked and you could hear rustling around in the background and you wondered what he was doing.
“No, Jay called and said I needed to come into work. What are you doing?” You asked, curiosity getting the better of you.
“I am getting stuff to make for dinner tonight. I was calling to see if you needed or wanted anything specific. Are you going to be home tonight?” He asked
“I’m hoping so. As for anything I need, I can’t think of anything so you’re good there.” You said
“Sounds good. Be safe please. I don’t want you getting hurt anytime soon.” He said and you chuckled.
“Noted, Dr. Halstead.” You said knowing it drove him crazy when you called him that sometimes.
“Behave yourself.” He said and you chuckled.
“I love you. See you at home.” You said
“I love you too.” He said and then you both were hanging up.
You sighed but now you were in a better mood. You got out of your car and headed up to the steps of the precinct. An officer was quick to open it for you “Thank you.” You said to him and he smiled.
“No problem, Detective Y/L/N.” He said and then you both were quickly parting ways. You looked up and saw Trudy standing at her desk.
“Let me guess you got called in with the rest of them.” She said and you nodded.
“Looks to be that way.” You said “It was supposed to be my day off but crime never sleeps it seems.” You said chuckling and she chuckled too.
“Never. I’ll buzz you up.” She said and you smiled and nodded and walked to the gate as it made a buzzing noise and you were able to turn the knob and pull it open.
“I can’t wait for them to put a keypad in.” You said
“Me and you both.” She said as the door closed behind you and you ascended up the stair where you were met face to face with Jay.
“Took your sweet ass time.” He said and you rolled your eyes.
“Sorry, I was talking with your brother.” You said and he chuckled.
“So, how was the brunch with your friends?” He asked as you stepped onto the floor of the bullpen.
“They started talking about their sex life. So, you really did save my ass.” You said and he chuckled.
“Sooo, how is it?” He asked, smirking and you hit his arm.
“That is none of your business.” You said glaring at him.
“I’m kidding. I’m kidding. I don’t want to know how my brother is in bed.” He said and walked away. If he only knew that you and Will haven’t had sex because of your own silly, to you, fear he would’ve laughed in your face. You went to your desk and took off your coat. You had your gun and badge on your hip, you put them there when you got ready to come into the precinct. You were just hoping whatever you needed to be called in for went by quickly so that you could get back to you loving boyfriend and maybe someday your fiancée. As you took a seat and started your computer and booted it up you looked up at Jay at his desk.
“So, what are we doing here?” You asked. Everyone had been working on a drug bust but activity seemed to have died down so it was put on hold.
“The huge drug bust we were working on has new activity like major activity. We also got new information about it so it’s all hands-on deck again.” He said while looking at you.
“Is there any chance that we are going home tonight?” You asked
“I’m hoping so.” He replied and then Hank Voight walked in and everybody looked up at him.
“Alright everyone gather around!” He said and everyone did. “We just got word that a drop will be happening in 30 minutes. We need to get there before it happens. Jay and Y/N I want you to take the front, Adam and Kim, I want you to take the side, Antonio and Kevin take the other side. Alvin and I will take up the rear.” He said and everyone nodded.
“Yes sir.” Everyone said in unison and headed out. As you got into the truck with Jay and put on your vest quickly as did, he, he started to drive to the location. The truck was filled with small talk until he pulled up to the spot but stayed out of view.
“You know what sounds nice right now?” You asked
“What?” He asked
“My nice warm bed.” You said and he chuckled.
“Cuddled up with my brother.” He asked and you hit him on his arm. “Am I wrong?” He asked, chuckling and you waited a beat.
“No. You're not wrong.” You said and he chuckled “Hey, I think it's about to go down.” You said and pointed to the scene in front of you. “Call it in. I'm going ahead.” You said as you got out and slowly and quietly closed the door. Jay was quick to call it in and then he was following you to your crouched position.
“On my command.” Hank said through the radio.
You waited and waited until it finally went down and he gave the command everyone moved in. “Chicago PD!” Was yelled throughout the group and the criminals put their hands up and everyone was arrested. 20 people in total were arrested and several pounds of drugs were confiscated. Overall, it was a great bust. Everyone high-fived each other. You were just glad no shots were fired and nobody got hurt. Soon everyone was heading back to the precinct and doing paperwork and finally around 8:00 PM you were heading home.
“Finally! I’m escaping while I can.” You said as you were putting on your coat and everyone chuckled.
“Go. Get. Before you’re stuck here. Tell Will I said hi.” Jay said and you smiled.
“I will.” You said and started to walk out of the bullpen and down the stairs you opened the gate and smiled at Trudy. “See you later.” You said and she actually smiled.
“See you later.” She said and then you were out the door and heading to your car as you were doing so you pulled out your phone and called Will.
“Hello, Gorgeous.” His voice came through.
“Hello, Handsome.” You said and he chuckled “I’ll be happy to report that we were successful on the drug bust and I’m heading home.” You said while getting into your car after you unlocked it.
“Good. I can’t wait to see you. I’ll get dinner started.” He said
“Awww, Will. You don’t have to do that. I’m fine with leftovers.” You said
“Not acceptable. My girl needs a meal for a job well done.” He said
“There is no changing your mind is there?” You asked
“Nope. Now get home safely.” He said and you chuckled.
“I will. I love you.” You said
“I love you too. See you soon.” He said
“Very soon.” You said and then you were hanging up the phone and driving out of the precinct and onto the main road and to your shared home. Maybe tonight you’ll get over your fear and finally have sex with your amazing boyfriend.
20 minutes later and you were pulling up to your shared apartment and parking beside his car. You shut the engine off and got out locking it. Bitter cold slapped you in the face and you quickly walked into the building and the elevator and pressed the button. It opened and you got in and pressed the button for your floor. The doors shut and it quickly took you to your floor which luckily was the 2nd floor. You got out and walked to your door and unlocked it and the smell of your favorite meal hit you. “Welcome home.” Will said as he met you at the door and kissed you and helped you out of your coat.
“It smells delicious in here.” You said and he smiled and he chuckled.
“Only the best for my girl.” He said and kissed you until you were breathless until he pulled away when the oven beeped.
“Oh, your brother said hi.” You said and he chuckled and shook his head.
“Go and change. I’ll have dinner on the table by the time you are out.” He said and you smiled at him. He was truly too good to you.
“How did I get so lucky to have you?” You asked before taking off to your bedroom.
“I ask that to myself about you. I’m just glad you stumbled into my ER with a concussion and a gunshot wound with my brother right behind you.” He said and you smiled.
“Though I’m not happy how that situation came to be, I’m glad it led me to you.” You said and then you were heading to get changed and put your gun and badge in the safe and once you were changed and walking out, he had food and drinks on the table. He pulled the chair out for you and when you set down, he pushed you in and then he sat down in his chair. You took a bite and practically moaned and closed your eyes so you didn’t see Will having to adjust his seating or look at you with the most love someone could have for their partner. “This is delicious.” You said after swallowing and opening your eyes smiling.
“I’m glad you love it.” He said smiling and he took a bite of his. The rest of dinner was eaten in silence but he still had a problem especially with all the moaning you were making. Finally, dinner was done and you leaned back in your chair. You suddenly got up and walked over to him and he turned and you sat on his lap and brought him for the sweetest kiss ever and he kissed back. You could feel his boner and you deepened the kiss. You both kissed each other furiously until you both needed air and you looked each other in the eye as you both panted. You wrapped your arms around his neck and leaned your forehead on his.
“Let’s take this into the bedroom.” You said and smiled and gently got up with you in his arms and started to walk towards the bedroom. “I love you.” You said and he smiled.
“I love you too.” He replied as he gently laid you on the bed and got on top of you. He brought his lips to the side of your neck and you turned your head for him to get a better access. He kissed it slowly and passionately, occasionally nipping and then soothing it with his tongue, it made you moan and clutch onto the bedding.
“Mmmm Will.” You moaned out and he smirked against your neck. His hands went to the hem of your shirt and he momentarily looked up at you and you nodded giving him permission. He pulled your shirt up your body and over your head. He tossed it somewhere as you laid topless in your bra, you started to get nervous. Will started to kiss down your chest and down the valley of your breasts and down to your naval. He got to your jeans. “Stop.” You said but he must’ve not heard you “Will, please stop.” You said louder and pushed on his shoulders and he did and looked up at you sitting up slightly.
“What? What’s wrong?” He asked
“I can’t do this.” You said and he sighed.
“What is going on? This isn’t the first time you have done this.” He asked
“I’m…I’m a virgin.” You said quietly and embarrassed and you expected him to be disgusted and be done with you, you expected him to laugh but when you didn’t hear him leave or laugh you looked up at him.
“There is nothing wrong with that.” He said and you sighed.
“I know but it’s embarrassing.” You said and shook his head.
“There is nothing to be embarrassed about. We can stop if you want.” He said and you shook your head.
“No, I want to lose it. I want to lose it to you.” You said and he smiled.
“I would be honored being your first time. We can take this at your pace.” He said and you nodded as he started to stroke your sides lovingly and tenderly.
“Please be gentle.” You pleaded and smiled and leaned up to kiss your lips.
“I promise.” He said against your lips and you nodded and he leaned back and took off his shirt showing his ripped body and his amazing abs. You leaned up and touched them and felt them flex underneath your touch. “Like what you see?” He asked, smirking, this wasn’t the first time you’ve seen him shirtless but each time it took your breath away you never expected a doctor to be so ripped.
“Absolutely.” You said and he chuckled and then started to unbuckle his belt and undo his pants. You watched him practically drooling and almost whined when he got off the bed but when you saw him pushing his pants and underwear down to release his leaking angry red cock you kept quiet. You’ve seen his cock before; you’ve given him plenty of blowjobs so seeing it was no surprise. He got back up on the bed and reached behind you as you lifted up so he could undo your bra and slide it off of you, when you were exposed to him you quickly tried to cover up but he stopped you.
“You have nothing to be shy about. It’s me.” He said and you nodded and he continued to unbutton your pants and undo the zipper and pulled them down along with your underwear and off of you. Now you were truly exposed to him and he was fully exposed to you. “You’re so beautiful.” He said and you blushed and turned away. “You still, ok?” He asked and you nodded “I need a verbal answer, Baby.” He said.
“I’m ok. Please don’t stop.” You said and he smiled and nodded and leaned down and kissed your lips and you kissed back. His hand traveled down your body until it got to where you needed him the most. His other hand was by your head stroking your hair. He touched your clit and you jumped.
“Shhh, I got you.” He said against your lips as he started to circle it, rubbing it, and pulling on it. You started to feel good and started to let out moans into his mouth. He then slid his hand through your folds and down to your entrance and he started to put a finger and you tensed up and he stopped when he felt it. “Hey, it is ok. I got you. We can stop if you want. Just say the word.” He said and you shook your head.
“No, no. Keep going.” You said and he nodded and watched your face as he slid his finger in further until he felt resistance and your breath caught in your throat. He stopped and you nodded and he slowly slid a finger into you and it felt weird and he stayed there for a minute until you nodded and he started to move it back and forth the pain went away and pleasure started to take over and you moaned. Just as you were about to cum, he pulled out gently. “Hey!” You said looking at him glaring and he chuckled.
“I wanna taste you. I want you to cum on my face.” He said as he slid down to come face to face with your slick folds. You were about to say something but he licked a broad stripe of up your folds and you moaned loudly. This was the first time he had ever gone down on you and you wonder why you never let him do it before. It was magical. Your hands went to his red curly hair and gripped it. He ate you out like you were his last meal. You would have closed your thighs around his head but his broad shoulders were keeping them open.
“Fuck, Will!” You moaned and that caused him to go faster and started to tongue fuck you and occasionally he would come up and give you clit attention biting, swirling, and sucking on it. You were close and you started to clench around nothing. “Fuck, I’m close! I’m close!” You moaned out and then he was speeding up his efforts until that knot in your stomach exploded and you were cumming on his face and he was lapping it all up like a dog would water on a hot day. Your grip on his hair tightened as he lapped up your juices through your high. When you did come down from your high and sat up making you let go of his hair. “Fuck, Will. That was so good.” You said and he smiled and you could see your slick covering his chin. “Why I haven’t let you do that until now is beyond me.” You said and he chuckled again.
“I will always make you feel good and make you cum. You don’t have to worry about that.” He said and he smiled.
“I know.” You said and then he leaned forward and kissed you. You could taste yourself on his tongue as he French kissed you. You had to admit you tasted sweet. You both broke the kiss when air was needed.
“Are you ready?” He asked and you nodded.
“Yes.” You said and he grabbed his angry hard thick cock and positioned it at your entrance. He ran his cock up and down your folds and then slowly pushed into your entrance and when you felt it hit that resistance you tensed and he stopped.
“We’re taking it at your pace.” He said
“I’m ok. Go on.” You said and he nodded and rocked forward until he pushed all the way in and you felt a snap and you tensed up. Once he bottomed out, he stayed there. He watched tears fall from your eyes and he was quick to wipe them away.
“Hey, shhhh. It’s ok. I got you. It’ll only hurt for a few minutes but I need to start moving, ok?” He asked and you nodded.
“Ok.” You said quietly sniffling. He nodded and started to rock his hips and pain shot through your body but as he started moving more the pain turned into pleasure and you started to moan.
“I got you.” He said once you got comfortable with it and you wanted him to go faster.
“Faster.” You said
“You sure?” He asked and you nodded.
“Positive.” You said and he obeyed and started to move faster he caged your head in with his arms and his mouth went to your neck.
“Fuck! Squeezing me so tight!” He moaned and your hands went to his shoulders, fingernails digging into them. “So perfect!” He moaned and you moaned with him and panted.
“So big. Making me so full.” You moaned as you threw your head back and to the side and your nails dug into him more and hissed but he loved it. “I love you so much.” You moaned again.
“I love you too.” He replied and then his lips were on your left nipple and that had you letting out a pornographic moan.
“Fuck me!” You moaned as he swirled and licked your nipple. He didn’t stop there as he nipped and tugged on it. Just that alone was bringing you close to the edge and quickly. “Fuck, don’t stop! I’m close!” You said and then he was pulling off your left nipple and giving the right nipple the same attention. During all of that your nails had started to go down his back leaving scratch marks but he wasn’t complaining. Once he felt that your right nipple had enough attention, he pulled off of it and looked at you’re in-awe expression.
“I can’t wait to marry you and fill you with children to watch these-” He started and cupped your breasts “swell.” He said and that had you moaning and closer to cumming. “Cum with me.” He said and released your breasts and brought one hand to your clit and started to rub it and play with it. You could tell he was close by him starting to stagger in his thrusts and you started to squeeze him “That’s right squeeze me. Cum with me. I’m close.” He said and you nodded.
“Me too. Let’s start making a baby now. I want to mother your kids and I don’t want to wait. I’m not on birth control.” You said and that all too familiar knot was back and it was about to snap. That seemed to spur him on because with one last tug on your clit you were cumming hard and then he was too. You both came with loud moans as he painted your walls white. “Fuck.” You said as you started to come down from your high.
“You’re amazing. I can’t wait to have kids with you and be your husband.” He said as he was coming down too. Once you both were blissed out, he slowly pulled out of you and you could feel his cum trickle out of you and you jumped from overstimulation when he pushed it back in. Once it was all back in, he laid on the other side of you. “Were you serious when you said you weren’t on birth control?” He asked and you nodded.
“I haven’t been on it for a while. It was screwing a lot of things up with me.” You said turning to look at him and he slipped an arm under you and pulled you into him.
“Thank you for letting me be your first.” He whispered
“I knew from the very moment we started dating I wanted you to take my virginity. I always got scared when we started to get very intimate and that I would be hurting for months from what I’ve read.” You said and he gave you a look. “I know I know. I shouldn’t haven’t looked it up. I couldn’t help myself.” You said and he chuckled.
“I would never ever hurt you. Ever. I love you too much to do so.” He said and you nodded and smiled.
“I know and I love you too. It was amazing by the way.” You said as you cuddled into him and he started to throw the covers over you.
“Only the best for my girl.” He said and kissed the top of your head. That’s how you spent the rest of the night. In his arms with nothing to worry about. The smell of his cologne and the scent of sex was lulling you to sleep. Your eyes finally slipped closed and breath evened out. Once Will felt your breath even out, he kissed your head one more time and he finally allowed himself to fall asleep. Both not knowing that one of his strong swimmers had made contact with an egg and life was being created inside you.

X-Men Origins Rewrite
Ok I guess this is a follow up to this post i made not too long ago abt rewriting this shit, the brainworms rlly got to me here so you’re getting a follow up sooner than expected lol
Before I actually do any rewriting though I wanted to lay out the big changes I’d be making and why, mainly for myself as a guide and to organize my thoughts both about the original film’s issues and how these changes could potentially solve them, but also to allow anyone else with some ideas for possible changes to add their own thoughts or suggestions by engaging with the post.
As for what kind of final product you could possibly expect these ideas to result in, i haven’t quite decided if I want to just do an in depth outline for the story with my proposed changes or do like a full length fic novelization. It’ll probably depend on how motivated I still feel about the exercise by the time I’m finished and happy with the cleaned up outline, but I digress. Lets just go ahead and get into the changes I want to make:
Proposed Changes:
First off, I’m removing Blob and Gambit from this cut. I like both of the characters and think it’s cool they tried to include them but the cast is crammed enough as it is and those two serve very little narrative purpose that can’t be shifted to others just as easily.
Second, I’m adding Silverfox to Team X and letting that serve as the meeting point for her and Logan, it gives the audience more time to get to know her and come to care for her and Logan’s relationship, while also harkening back to the comics where she was also a part of the weapon x program. Also I know this isn’t a real film but let it be known that if it were i’d actually hire a Native American actress to portray her, i’m still shitty they whitewashed her.
Third, I’m removing the third act “Silverfox wasn’t really dead” twist. I really shouldn’t have to explain why, that shit was dumb and completely unnecessary, not to mention introducing a shit ton of plot holes with that whack ass mutant ability they pull from thin air. In my version she’s human(as far as we know) and when she dies she dies for real, full stop.
Fourth, we are GETTING a biblically accurate Deadpool. They did my bro dirty and I refuse to compromise on this. His role will be larger to compensate for his big ass personality and the fact that i’m affectively letting him take up Gambit’s role from the original in addition to what he already had. Also I just think he bounces off of Logan really well and could serve as a really interesting parallel with having such similar trauma and very different ways of responding to it and seeing the world. Like just imagine D&W if they accidentally traumabonded over their similar origin stories.
Fifth, I’m making Victor our stand in for the films Weapon XI! He doesnt get adamantium or new powers like Wade, only the dehumanizing psychological torture present in the original Weapon X comic. I think it works great for his spiraling arc, gives me a chance to squeeze a faithful weapon X adaptation in here without upending the entire film’s structure, and helps to better position his character on a trajectory towards his more feral appearance in X1 where he doesn’t seem to fully recognize Logan.
Sixth, I’d like to include Dr. Cornelius as the head scientist in Weapon X. My current concept is that he’s in charge of all the unethical mutant capturing and experimenting, working under Stryker’s supervision but still an outsider to the government, being sent in by Stryker’s most significant source of funding for his program in Nathaniel Essex. I know this has zero basis in canon I just think it sounds cool and makes sense for Sinister to have hands in a program aiming to create perfect mutant soldiers, as someone using mutants DNA to create a genetically perfect race of superhumans and become the ultimate life form. (Sinister would not play a large role, more of a looming presence pulling strings and fucking people over)
To get more overarching here, I wanted to hone in on the dynamics and themes present in the original that i thought had the most potential for further development. Victor’s spiral to madness and eventual complete loss of self under Stryker, Logan learning to let go of Victor’s influence and the violence that he let define his life only for both to drag him back after Silverfox’s demise. Really digging into that nature vs nurture shit, and adding more mutant politics (and their accompanying metaphors for the struggles of marginalized people) cuz honestly i feel like it’s absence in the original is very noticeable, and ties in really well with Logan’s arc of self acceptance and learning to see himself as more than the violent nature of his mutation.
Stuff I Still Want Changed:
Ok so here’s where I’m throwing my hat out for suggestions, because there are still a couple minor things present in the movie that i’m just not a fan of or don’t really know what to do with. The difference is, with these I can’t really think of tweaks that could fix/improve them. So if yall have any ideas on what I can do about these, or maybe some completely unrelated changes that you just think could improve the rewrite, please let me know.
One, not really sure what to do with Zero, he’s around for a lot of the movie but didn’t really stand out much to me. I just don’t know a lot about the character or what his deal is in the comics to find something cool to do with him. I’m going back and forth on if his role is ultimately necessary?? Does Stryker really need another henchman? Or should I use the space he occupies to hone in more on Victor and Logan’s rivalry? Idk i’m still on the fence so tell me what yall think.
Two, god I just fucking hate those memory wiping adamantium bullets. It’s such a stupid plot device that makes no sense conceptually and was clearly just thrown in as an afterthought at the last second like the writers forgot they needed to erase his memory by the end. That’s not to mention the fact that the bullets’ function was retconned later in Logan. Genuinely though I cannot find another way to go about fucking up Logan’s head without basically upending the structure of this movie in its entirety so any ideas on how to solve this dilemma are appreciated.

I’m putting on a smile, but inside, I feel like I’m unraveling. I can’t sleep, not really. Every time I try, my mind races with every “what if” imaginable. What if Sunny’s blanket shifts? What if she stops breathing and I don’t notice? So instead of sleeping, I watch her. I sit by her bassinet in the dead of night, straining to hear every little sound she makes, barely blinking just to make sure her tiny chest keeps rising and falling.
It’s like I’ve forgotten how to eat, too. Food feels pointless when all I can think about is Sunny — when she’s awake, when she’s asleep, if she’s okay, if I’m doing enough. I nibble here and there, but nothing feels appetizing. It’s like my body is in a constant state of tension, like I’m holding my breath all day long.
I haven’t left the house since her newborn check-up, and even that felt like stepping into a minefield. Every cough, every stranger who got too close — it all felt like a threat. The idea of taking her out again is unbearable. What if something happens? What if someone touches her, or if the world outside is just too much for her tiny, fragile body?
My roots are growing in, and I can’t bring myself to care. I used to take such pride in how I looked, in keeping myself together. Now, I barely recognize myself when I catch a glimpse in the mirror. My hair’s a mess, my skin looks dull, and I’m still in the same sweats I’ve been wearing for days. I know I should care—I know this isn’t me—but the thought of doing anything for myself feels impossible.
And yet, I can’t let anyone see this. What would they think of me? A bad mom? Weak? Ungrateful? Lorenzo’s been so good, so supportive, and I smile and tell him I’m just tired, but the truth is, I feel like I’m going insane. I can’t tell Nicola or Gemma or Chiara. I can’t tell anyone. They’d say I need help, but all I need is to get through this.
I just have to survive the newborn stage, right? It’ll get better. She’ll get bigger, and I’ll sleep again, and I’ll remember how to be me. It has to get better. Until then, I’ll just keep watching her, making sure she’s okay. If I can keep her safe, then I can handle this. I have to.

Hello ^^
I really want to make a shifting affirmation tape for myself and give it try, it kinda resonates with me and it feels right. I’ve been trying to use LOA to shift to my DR but it has been on and off so that’s why I haven’t managed to get anywhere yet.
I just keep stopping myself with doubts, anxiety and horrible intrusive thoughts, I’m also dealing with depression and with a 3D that I just want to escape from. Sometimes I can feel at ease and think I’m already in my DR but then the 3D hits me and I just start spiraling with doubts and fear throughout the day, specially in the night (‘what if it doesn’t work?’, ‘what if I never shift’, ‘what if it’s a lie?’, ‘what if I’m doing things wrong?’… and I could go on with so many more examples).
How can I learn to trust and knowing it’ll be okay? Did you ever felt this way? I want to completely surrender because I’m so tired, but I’m scared I’ll stay here forever being unhappy. I’d love to wake up in my DR one day and act as if all of this was only a long bad dream.
If I start listening to tapes for shifting during the night, how can I make sure to not mess up with the process when awake? How can I stop feeling so anxious and trapped in fear?
I know no one can do anything for me but myself, but maybe you have some kind words and advice that could help. Do you have recommendations or something you’d do in my position?
Thank you for taking the time if you answer this, and I’m so sorry for the long ask. Stay healthy and happy. 🥺
If an affirmation tape feels like the right thing to do, you should definitely do it.
I always emphasize the importance of following one's intuition. Whatever feels right, feels good, brings you joy and peace, is what you should be doing at all times.
Having doubts, anxiety, fear, paranoia... Most of us have been through the exact same thing. I know I have. I shifted twice and I still get those nights when I'm convinced I made it all up and my mind is playing tricks on me and I'll never escape. What helps is just letting those thoughts flow in and out. The truth is, nothing and no one can stop you from shifting, not even yourself. People have shifted by complete accident. Anti shifters shifted on their first try when they only wanted to prove that shifting is not real. Imagine that, our biggest opps became a part of the community when all they wanted was to prove we were crazy!
Once you decide that you are a shifter, nothing will derail you from that path. It is inevitable, unavoidable, destined. It is done. Whether it happens this next second or it happens in a couple of years, it will happen regardless. And once you shift, nothing about this 3d reality would even matter anymore. Not how much time you spent trying, not anything that went wrong, not even your cr self would have any say in it anymore.
The best advice I can give you: don't give up. Everything else is noise. You owe it to yourself to see this through. You owe it to yourself to finally accomplish the one thing you've wanted more than anything in the world. You owe it to yourself not to give up on all of your dr selves. They are you.
Methods, subliminals, tapes, saturation sessions, meditation, robotic Affirmations... They are all tools to help you on your way. You don't need them, but if they make you feel better then by all means, use them. But at the end of the day, you only need one thing.
Decide. Stick with that decision. Don't change your mind. Tune out everything that's not working on your favour. You need tunnel vision, everything else besides your goal is a blur. Focus.
You already shifted.
I hope this helps!
Happy shifting ❤️

I sent you part of this already but I decided it needed a bit more. 🫂❤️
“Please, Sir. I’ll keep up, or you can leave me behind. Just… go back to your boys.” Sky yanked himself out of Time’s grip and wrapped his arms around himself. “Please.” His voice threatened to break and he looked away. Why wouldn’t the eldest just… go?
“Sky…” Time caught his arm. No, not in front of Time. Not when he was holding on to…everything by a thread. “I am with one of my boys. What’s wrong?” And the kindness in Time’s voice was the final straw.
“I haven’t slept more than a half watch in two weeks.” He admitted. “I’m exhausted and Surface Sick but…” here he stopped as his voice choked. “I just need…” Another sob he fought to stifle. He needed the nightmares to let him sleep. He needed his head and body to quit aching. He was already a burden to the other heroes. He pushed through this on his adventure. He’d do it again…
There was a clatter as a golden gauntlet dropped to the ground and a cool wrist was lightly pressed against his forehead, then the eldest hero carefully pulled him into a hug and it was at that point that Sky fully lost his grip on everything and sobbed into Time’s chest.
--
Sky collapsed into him, sobbing and Time caught the Chosen hero and fought to contain the panic. The boy had a fever. He wasn’t sure what Surface Sick meant other than Sky seemed familiar with it, some sort of illness obviously. Then there was their current situation. They’d hoped to reach a town soon. It would be better to stock up on supplies and catch news of their quarry but could they even move if Sky was very bad off? He knew the Chosen would feel awful about disrupting the group’s travel but he couldn’t imagine forcing pace when the boy was sick and clearly exhausted. All this was currently being frantically pushed to a back burner as the urgent issue was a teenager breaking down with a simple hug.
“It’ll be ok, Sky.” He assured, shifting to take more of the Chosen’s weight. "I've got you, it'll be ok."
--
Time was saved from trying to come up with more than reassurances by the noise of rustling in the bushes and the emergence of Wolfie from the undergrowth. For a wolf, the expression was clear concern. It required shifting the Chosen in his arms to sign. So he ended up making an executive decision then and there.
"Go tell everyone to settle in for a bit. We're overdue for a rest day anyway." His pup nodded and trotted off towards camp. He turned his attention to Sky, whose cries had subsidided into exhausted shudders. He needed to get the Chosen somewhere he could rest.
"Let's get you back to bed, Sky." He shifted to pick the Skyloftian knight up, only getting a miserable whine in response. "It'll be ok, Kid." He hummed the Goron Lullaby as he walked. It wasn't on his ocarina and it had none of the magic the song would have if played on the proper instrument, but it was soothing enough he felt Sky start to properly drift off.
--
Twilight was human once more as Time approached the edge of camp. Now came the hard part, convincing the boys to not ask too many questions yet. He needn't have worried. Warriors had most of the others occupied with sword work or sparring. Twilight helped him get Sky wrapped up in his bedroll so he could rest. Wild broke from the group long enough to hand over a potion meant to keep a hylian from overheating in desert sun, hopefully it would help against a fever.
--
"How's he doing?" Wars asked quietly as he dropped to a crouch beside them. Sky was sleeping once more, albeit fitfully. Wild’s exilir plus a damp cloth had done wonders for Sky’s fever. But it was clear the young knight was still struggling.
"Better, a little..." Time turned his attention to Sky as the Chosen’s breath hitched and he began showing signs of distress. The cloth had lost its cooling properties anyway so Time carded a hand through Sky’s hair as he resolved the cloth. It seemed to soothe him.
"Anything you need?" Wars asked once Sky had settled once more.
These kids to stop breaking my heart. Was his immediate thought, but he shook his head. "Unless you know how to fix what's kept him from sleeping and made him ill..."
Warriors smiled ruefully. "We'll just have to keep an eye out. I'll switch you out when you need a break or in two more hours, whichever comes first. Ok, Sprite?"
Time nodded with a small chuckle. The Captain knew him too well to not set deadlines. He'd stay as long as it took to take care of his boys otherwise.
Oh my heart, this is adorable.
Thank you for sharing this with me :)

Hatori Sohma X Fem!Reader
Word Count: 737
Requested: @hiimagine
Request: Hello, will it be possible to have another hatori imagine? I need more
Hatori had noticed that you were getting stressed over the past couple of weeks. He remembered seeing it so many times in himself before Tohru had broken the curse. Today was no different than the others except this time when you came home Hatori had gotten home before you. “You're late.” was all he said from his place in the kitchen where he had started cooking. “Yeah, it’s been busy.” You answered vaguely as you hung up your coat and made your way to the kitchen. “Busy?” He asked. “Mmm.” You hummed. “Go and wash up, I can take care of this.” He said softly. “What? Do I smell or something?” You asked, pressing your nose into your shoulder and inhaling, he rolled his eyes before leaning down and pressing a kiss to the top of your head. “No you don’t smell, you are exhausted, go wash up, while I finish dinner.” He turned you towards the door leading out of the room. “I… What?” You asked. “Have I forgotten something?” You frantically looked at your phone trying to find the date and recall anything that happened on that day. “No, you're not forgetting anything, is it really that strange that I would cook dinner?” He asked. “Well no.” You shook your head as you turned away from him walking out of the kitchen and towards the bedroom, you glanced back at him one more time, he had turned back to the stove by then and it only took a second for appreciation to kick in.
When you came back out of the shower, Hatori had finished cooking and was cleaning what he had used, two plates at the table in the kitchen still steaming hot. “Smells good.” You informed him as you walked into the room. “Sit down and eat.” He pointed to the seat you always found yourself in, you sat at the table and started to eat, after a while you realised just how hungry you were and managed to finish your plate only after about 10 minutes of sitting down. “You didn’t eat today?” “Well… I… No.” You decided against the excuse there was no point, Hatori always saw through the lies that you told, you did backtrack when he opened his mouth to scold you “wait! That’s not true, I had a snack!” “You think that makes it better?” He asked as he looked you over as if assessing you for himself and while he couldn’t see anything that stood out, he could see that you were tired, that you needed rest. “I’m sorry.” You finally said. “What are you apologising for, you're not the one that makes your work schedule this hectic.” Hatori pulled you over, holding your head against his shoulder. “It’ll be better now, you know since the extra shifts are all done now.” You mumbled. “They never should have started.” He lifted his food to his mouth offering you small amounts to make sure that you had definitely had your fill. “Mmm.” You hummed eyes fighting to stay open as he finished the last of his food. Hatori noticed, he always noticed. Standing slowly he allows you time to lift your head before he disappears from the position supporting your head. He cleaned the plates. “You know what this means right?” “What?” He glanced back at you. “I have a month off now.” He could hear you kicking your legs as you said that and he smiled to himself. “Yeah, I hope you plan to rest.” He dried off his hands and turned to walk back to you. “Of course.” You answered standing from where you were sitting and moving towards the living room “but enough about me, how was your day?” “The same as always.” He answered. “Oh… You mean Shigure was being annoying?” You asked. “As always.” Hatori nodded. “And the kids?” You asked. “They’re all fine.” He answered. “Maybe we can go see them sometime this week.” You suggested. “You want to go see everyone?” He asked. “I haven’t seen them all in so long.” You snuggled into his side as you turned on the TV. “I’ll talk to Shigure.” He pressed a kiss to the top of your head. “Thanks Hatori.” You mumbled softly. “No problem.” He answered. “I love you.” You leaned up pressing a kiss to the underside of his jaw and he squeezed you a little tighter. “I love you too.”

A Halloween Miracle – Ice (PSF #16)
PSF Ficography | H&F Flash Ficography
Genre: Fluff, romance, slice of life
Prompt: Wearing each other’s clothes (@flufftober) / Dare: Make a donation to the food bank (@slumberpartybingo Fall Flash)
Word Count: 5,228
Pairing: Reader x Ice
World: High&Low
───── ⋆⋅🍂⋅⋆ ─────
You checked your reflection in the mirror again, biting your lip nervously. It wasn’t your first date with Ice yet it felt as if it was. How could you not feel at least a bit self-conscious with him, though? He was such a beautiful man with an incredible, and expensive, sense of fashion.
Not to mention how strong he is or how much money he has. You were his complete opposite. Fashion meant nothing to you and you were perfectly happy just wearing loose, comfortable clothing. You never spent more than fifty bucks on an article of clothing, not just because it felt wrong, but also because you didn’t have that kind of spare cash to blow.
Ice oftentimes tried to buy you things but you always told him no. You felt wrong accepting gifts from him, especially since he seemed to choose the most expensive gifts possible. The last thing you wanted was for him to think you were a gold digger, just dating him for his money.
You even insisted on paying your half of the bill when he took you out to dinner, something that really frustrated him. He knew you worked hard for your money and that it was always tight for you, yet you insisted on paying.
The first time you had gone out together, he had chosen an expensive restaurant and you ended up not having enough to pay for your half. It was one of the most embarrassing nights of your life and you still hate thinking about it.
Taking a deep breath, you grabbed your keys and headed outside to wait for Ice to arrive. The cold autumn air curled around you like a blanket, bringing goosebumps to your skin and a smile to your face. Autumn was your favorite time of year and you loved the cold.
Ice’s black Bentley pulled up to the curb and he stepped out, smiling when he saw you. “Hey, baby,” he greeted, pressing a kiss to your cheek before leading you to the passenger’s side, pulling the door open for you. As soon as you were safely inside, he closed the door and returned to the driver’s seat.
When you first met Ice, you saw how viciously he fought, how cruel he could be. You never would have imagined that he could be such a gentleman, that he could be so soft and kind to you.
“Where do you want to go?” He questioned, taking your hand in his, fingers lacing together.
You bit your lip, knowing how drastically your interests were. A good date to him was an expensive restaurant before heading to the club to party. A good date to you was staying indoors and watching a movie or going for a walk together at the park.
He waited patiently for you to answer, rubbing his thumb against your hand.
“Can we… visit the autumn fair?” you asked softly.
“Sure.” He pressed a kiss to your hand before putting the car in park and pulling away from the curb. Music was playing softly in the background, the heater turned on low to stave off the chill.
You shifted against the leather seat, turning your gaze to the window as the city passed by in a blur of silver and orange. It didn’t take long to reach the fair and the place was packed, mostly with families and their kids. You felt guilty forcing him to come here and it honestly made you feel a bit childish.
As you climbed out of the car, you offered him a sheepish smile. “If you don’t want to be here, we can go somewhere else…?”
Ice just smiled, putting his arm around your shoulders and tugging you against his side. “Nah. I haven’t been to a fair in years, it’ll be a nice change.”
“Are you sure?”
His dark eyes met yours, fingers pushing your chin up so he could claim your lips. “Positive, baby.”
You nodded, a smile slipping onto your face. He let you take the lead, following you around as you bounced from one ride to the next, tackling each game booth that they had. You weren’t very good at them, not once winning a prize, but Ice dominated each one, allowing you to choose the item you wanted.
The loud sounds of the rides along with the sea of people was enough to cover the soft thunder above, the night sky slowly filling with dark clouds. Though it felt as if you had been there for only a few minutes, several hours passed by and the fair was getting ready to close. Most of the families had already cleared out, leaving only couples and groups of teens.
The wind was picking up, the temperature dropping as rain approached. Despite loving the cold, you were starting to shiver. You regretted not wearing your hoodie, but you worried Ice wouldn’t like the way it looked on you because it was baggy and quite old.
He shrugged out of his jacket, draping it over your shoulders. The scent of his cologne filled your nostrils and you smiled, sticking your arms through the sleeves. It was still warm from his body.
“Thank you.”
He pressed a kiss to your temple. “I can’t let my baby get sick. Let’s get you home before the rain starts.”
“Okay.” You followed him back to the car, sliding into the passenger seat. “Thank you for today. I had a lot of fun.”
He quirked a brow at you before returning his eyes to the road. “When are you going to stop thanking me for taking you on dates?”
“At least once more, Mr. Ice,” you grinned, quoting the Pirates of the Caribbean. It was the movie you both watched on your first date, so it held a special place in your heart. It was also just a really good movie.
Ice chuckled, a smile coming to his lips as he thought back to that day. It had started out as a disaster of a blind date, set up by your friend who Pearl was desperately trying to get with. Bernie was supposed to be your date but he got food poisoning at the last minute. Everyone else was busy except for Jesse and Ice, the former flat-out refusing.
Ice didn’t want to go, either, but Pearl was his family and he needed help so the leader agreed.
He honestly didn’t think much of you, at first. Despite being at a club, you were wearing baggy shorts, a hoodie, and sneakers. You had no interest in dancing or drinking and you acted as if you wanted to be anywhere else. He thought you were cute, but you were nothing compared to the hotties he usually pulled.
He expected the night to pass by in awkward silence, but you tried to get to know him, striking up a conversation repeatedly even when it died out. Usually his dates were all over him by now, complimenting his watch, the diamonds in his ears or the chain around his neck. You didn’t care about any of that. Even when he told you that he owned a club and a bunch of expensive cars, you weren’t interested.
When he mentioned his music, though, you became very interested. You had always admired musicians, not just for their talent but for their confidence. They bore their souls for the world to see and they did so proudly despite the fear of rejection. Ice was surprised by just how animated you became when discussing the topic and, as the night wore on, he began to warm up to you.
He offered to take you home when it became glaringly obvious that you no longer wanted to be inside the club. Rather than fawn over his expensive car, you were hesitant to even look at it for fear of somehow messing it up. He thought it was cute how he had to coax you inside, assuring you that it was highly unlikely that you would.
He found himself driving slower than he needed to because he was enjoying spending time with you. You were so different from the people he usually hung around with and it was refreshing to him. He remembers how relieved he had felt when you spotted the sign for the drive-in movie theater. It was playing the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie and you asked him if he would be interested.
You were surprised when he said yes but you certainly weren’t complaining. He was not your type at all, yet you felt drawn to him, drawn to the strong aura he possessed. You weren’t sure why but you felt safe around him, comfortable even. That’s not to say you also didn’t feel nervous, as well, given the extreme differences between you, but he just had this way of making you completely forget about your worries for a time.
“What are you grinning about?” He wondered, quirking a brow at you as he pulled up in front of your house.
“I was just thinking about the day we met,” you replied, sending him a soft smile. “Things didn’t start out too well, but I’m happy with how it ended.”
He smirked, reaching over to grip your chin in his hand. “Just how happy are you, hm?”
“Very,” you breathed out, finding yourself leaning toward him.
“Show me,” he ordered, lips brushing against your own. A sudden clap of thunder rattled the car windows and made you jump, heart racing within your chest. He clicked his tongue. “The rain’s about to start, you should get inside.”
“Right…” You stepped out of the vehicle, heading toward the door with him close behind. You reached into your pocket for your keys only to frown when they weren’t there. You checked your other pocket but they weren’t there either. Dread filled you. “Shit…”
“What’s wrong?”
“I lost my keys…” you sent him a panicked look and he rested his large hand on top of your head, giving you a calming look.
“You probably dropped them in the car.”
The two of you started back toward the car when the thunder boomed again. The sky opened up, sheets of rain falling down on top of you. You cried out in surprise when the ice-cold water hit you, easily soaking through the t-shirt you wore.
“Get in!” Ice ordered, rushing to the passenger side to open the door for you despite his designer clothes getting soaked. When he finally made it inside, you frowned at the water dripping down his face.
“I’m so sorry,” you apologized, lowering your head.
“For what?” He quirked a brow at you in confusion.
“You got wet because I lost my keys… and now your seats are gonna be ruined…”
He chuckled, his voice soft. “You have nothing to apologize for. Do you see them?”
“Oh, um…” you started to feel between the seats, looking on the floor and reaching beneath the seat but your keys were nowhere in sight. “They’re not here. Oh my god, what am I going to do? My roommate won’t be back until tomorrow night!”
“Hey, calm down,” he called softly, resting his hand against the back of your neck. “You can stay with me tonight.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes.” He started up the car, pulling away from the curb.
The closer you got to his apartment, the more nervous you became. You hadn’t ever been to his place before and now you were gonna be staying the night. You took a few deep breaths, hands clenching and unclenching as you tried to calm yourself down.
The apartment building was just as you expected – a twenty-five-story building that sat in the eastern district of the city. It’s where all the rich people lived and the air just felt different there, though it was hard to explain why.
“Welcome back, Ice-sama.” The old man at the reception desk bowed to him but the male didn’t spare him a glance as he approached the elevator.
You hugged yourself tightly, feeling super uncomfortable between the wet clothes clinging to you, your missing keys and the fear of spending the night at Ice’s place. You were honestly scared that he would expect something from you in return and you just weren’t ready for that.
His apartment was huge, filled with expensive-looking furniture and decorations, most of which were music-themed. “The bathroom is down the hall. Go take a shower and I’ll find you something to wear.”
You swallowed nervously, watching as he disappeared down the opposite hall. You knew you had to get out of these clothes and a warm shower sounded lovely right about now, but were you really okay being naked in his apartment? And he was going to bring you some clothes… what if he decided to join you?
Your heart hammered against your ribs as you entered the bathroom, locking the door behind you. Your hands trembled as you undressed, but you couldn’t be sure if it was because of the cold or the nerves. Probably both.
You slowly slid the clothes off your body, turning on the water so it could warm up.
There was a knock on the door and you tensed, waiting for him to try the doorknob but he didn’t. “Baby, I’m gonna leave the clothes on the table, okay?”
“Y-Yeah! Thank you.” You pressed your ear to the door, listening to his footsteps fade before you cracked open the door, snatching up the clothes before shutting the door again. You showered quickly and started to get dressed.
His scent lingered on the clothes, mixed with the smell of the laundry detergent, and you inhaled deeply, feeling a wave of calm wash over you. You picked up your wet clothes, not wanting to just leave them on the floor.
Ice was sitting on the sofa, changed into grey sweatpants and a black shirt that hugged his body. A towel sat around his neck as he dried his short hair. You assumed there were two bathrooms and he had used the other one.
“Um,” you shifted nervously in the doorway when he looked up at you. “Where should I put these?”
“Here, I’ll take them.” He pulled himself off the sofa, taking the wad of clothes from your hands before disappearing down the hall. He returned a moment later, confused as to why you hadn’t moved. His hand found the small of your back, gently pushing you toward the sofa.
You felt as if you should say something but your mind was drawing blanks, too preoccupied with the rising nerves within your system. He settled down beside you, putting his arm around you to pull you closer.
“I have a surprise for you, baby,” he commented softly, pressing a kiss to your cheek.
You watched curiously as he picked up the remote, turning on the TV. you recognized the music immediately, eyes snapping over to see the menu screen for the Pirates of the Caribbean. A bright smile came to your lips and he could feel the tension leaving your body.
“After our first date, I ordered the limited edition set.”
“Limited edition?” Your wide eyes fell on him, knowing exactly what he meant. “But that thing is like 300 bucks!”
He hummed, fingers brushing against the back of your neck. “It was worth it. I’ll show you the set later, if you want.”
“Please! I was eyeing it for ages but they stopped selling it by the time I saved up enough.” You shook your head, folding your arms over your chest.
Ice hummed again as he pressed play, already knowing what he wanted to do. A soft smile came to his lips as he watched your eyes light up, focused completely on the TV screen. He felt so much love for you in his heart and it felt so foreign to him. He had hated it at first because it scared him, but now he craved more.
He pulled you even closer until you were practically on his lap, arms wrapping around your waist. You leaned into his warmth, head resting on his firm chest.
“I love you, baby,” he whispered, lips brushing against your cheek, feeling your skin grow warm.
“I love you, too,” you breathed out, hands resting over his arms.
You made it through three movies before you started yawning and Ice suggested it was time for bed. He didn’t think twice about sharing the bed with you because you were dating, you had been for a while, but you were nervous as hell.
Truth be told, you were a virgin who had never gone beyond kissing anyone before. You figured Ice was the opposite, having quite a few notches in his belt. That didn’t bother you, it was long before you started dating, but you assumed he had an expectation. How long was too long to date without getting intimate? You knew you weren’t ready but you were afraid he might leave you if you refused him.
Your heart raced within your chest as he led you into his bedroom. The bed was huge, fit for a king, with a plush black and white comforter. As he pulled back the covers, he took notice of how tense you were and a frown tugged at his lips. “You okay?”
“Y-Yeah!” you replied quickly, forcing a smile.
He knew you were lying. He said your name, hand on his hip. “Tell me.”
You shifted nervously under his piercing gaze, mumbling under your breath.
“What?” He stepped closer to you. “I couldn’t hear what you said.”
You screwed your eyes shut, fists clenching at your sides. “I-I’m a virgin!”
Ice was both taken aback and confused. He knew you were vastly different from the people he usually dated, but a virgin? He definitely hadn’t expected that. Why were you suddenly bringing it up, though? At first, he thought that you trusted him enough to confide such information to him.
His eyes scanned your tense body, taking in the way your fists trembled slightly, how your eyes remained closed, and the deep frown that marred your face. He knew he was wrong. You weren’t confiding in him, you were worried about it.
“Baby,” he called out softly, closing the distance and resting his hands on your upper arms. “I’m not going to force you to do anything you’re not comfortable with.”
You slowly peeled open your eyes, expecting to see him looking annoyed to some degree, but his eyes were filled with warmth. “You’re… you’re really okay with it?”
“Of course, I am. What kind of person do you think I am?” He hadn’t meant to sound so harsh, but he was hurt that your mind had even gone there.
“I’m sorry, I…”
Ice exhaled sharply to calm himself before pulling you into his arms. Despite the tense situation, he felt you relax in his grip. “I love you and I’m just happy spending time with you. I won’t do anything you’re uncomfortable with, but you have to tell me what those things are, understand?”
You nodded, fingers curling around his shirt. “I’m sorry.”
“Don’t be. Let’s get some sleep, okay?” He paused as he considered his words. “Unless you’d like to sleep in the guest room instead?”
“No,” you mumbled against his chest, cheeks darkening. “I wanna stay with you.”
He chuckled, pressing a kiss to your forehead. “Whatever you want, baby.”
───── ⋆⋅🍂⋅⋆ ─────
Sun streamed through the cracks in the curtains and you shifted, eyes fluttering open. You instantly felt the lack of Ice’s presence behind you, his side of the bed cols to the touch. With a yawn, you crawled out of bed to search for him but the apartment was empty. Upon checking your phone, you found a new message from him.
-> Had to go deal with a problem at the club. Stay as long as you want, baby.
You quickly messaged back, telling him that you hoped everything was okay. It felt strange being alone in his apartment and, truth be told, you felt kind of happy that he trusted you around all of his items. He had more faith in you than you had in yourself because you feared you would break whatever you touched.
You glanced at the clock and cursed. It was almost time for your shift at the food bank so you needed to hurry up and get ready. You searched for your clothes, finding them in the laundry room. He had tossed them in the washer but hadn’t turned it on and you didn’t have enough time to do it yourself.
You bit your lip, tugging your phone from your pocket. He still hadn’t responded to you so you hesitated to send another. You knew you had no choice but to wear his clothes if you wanted to get to the food bank on time. If you asked to borrow his clothes but he didn’t reply immediately, only to say no later, it would be awkward as hell when he found out you had done it anyway.
“Damn it,” you cursed, returning to his room.
His closet opened up into the next room, overflowing with fashionable clothes from brands you couldn’t even pronounce. Your eyes scanned the items as you slowly walked through the room, looking for something that was close to your style but also something that didn’t look as if it cost a couple of grand.
You found a basketball jersey that was big on you but super comfortable, along with a pair of jeans that had a hole on the left knee. You assumed they were old and not worth much because of it. They were also big on you and you had to roll up the pant legs so they weren’t dragging against the ground. Securing them with a belt, you nodded in satisfaction before grabbing your shoes and leaving the apartment.
Ice had left a spare key for you on the table so you were able to lock the door behind you.
Taking a deep breath of the cold autumn air, you smiled and started to run down the sidewalk, leaves crunching beneath your feet. Because of how far the food bank was from the upper district, you were three minutes late for your shift.
The other volunteers jumped in surprise when you slammed the door open, breathing heavily as your lungs tried to suck in air. Your side was in stitches, heart beating hard against your ribs and your legs felt like jelly.
“You’re late,” scolded Mako, eyes narrowed and arms folded over his chest.
“S-Sorry!” you quickly bowed to him before rushing over to your station.
“Our doors open in five minutes!” he announced, raising his voice so everyone could hear him. “Remember to be kind. These people are struggling and are hungry. Kind smiles, soft words. Be polite!”
The food bank was a large rectangular building divided down the center. On the right side was the kitchen where the homeless could come and get some freshly made soup to fill their bellies. On the left was the food bank where you worked, handing out groceries to families who couldn’t afford the overly priced items at the store.
Kai, your friend and coworker, leaned toward you with a frown. “How are we supposed to act cheery when we’re nearly out of food?”
“Eh?” You looked at him in surprise. “What do you mean?”
“The supply truck was robbed and all the food was taken. We have enough for maybe two days, depending on how many people show up.”
A frown tugged at your lips, a sad feeling settling in your gut. You were forced to push those negative feelings away as the doors were opened and people began to flood the building. You forced a smile as you greeted the woman at the front of the line, trying not to worry too much.
───── ⋆⋅🍂⋅⋆ ─────
“Oi, are you still alive?” Sarah snapped her fingers in front of your face, knocking you from your thoughts.
“Sorry,” you sent her an apologetic look. “What were you saying?”
The two of you were relaxing at the back of the club, far removed from the crowd of people dancing and drinking. The walls were thick enough to block most of the sound, though you could still hear the faint bumping of the bass.
She hummed, sitting back on the couch and crossing her legs. “You’ve been distracted all day. Did you fight with Ice or something?”
“No, of course not!” you replied quickly, holding your hands up as if in surrender. “It’s just…”
“Just what?”
Honestly, you doubted she would care but you needed to get it off your chest because you couldn’t stop worrying about it. “I work at the food bank downtown.”
She sent you a surprised look which you didn’t notice because you were staring at your lap. She knew you had a job and did odd jobs sometimes for extra cash, something she found strange. She had grown to know Ice well and she had been surprised to learn that he wasn’t taking care of you.
She had no idea that, when you weren’t working, you were volunteering. She briefly wondered if Ice knew.
“The supply truck was attacked and we barely have enough food left for tomorrow. What are we going to do?” You frowned, running your hand through your hair in frustration. “All of us pooled together what little bit of money we had but it didn’t buy much. Donations have gone down a lot this year and I don’t know if we can recover from this.”
Sarah watched as you stood up with a groan, pacing back and forth. This was clearly something important to you but she didn’t even have to ask if you had told Ice. She knew you hadn’t because you feel bad using his money. Even if it was for a good cause, you felt guilty asking him to spend his money for you.
Sarah had no qualms about this, though.
She pulled herself off the couch, resting a hand on your shoulder. “I’m sure you’ll find a way.”
You gave her a grateful smile that didn’t quite reach your eyes. “Thank you and thank you for listening to me ramble.”
“That’s what friends are for.”
───── ⋆⋅🍂⋅⋆ ─────
Mako looked worried as he approached you, eyes glancing to the storage room behind you. He tugged you away from the line of people, lowering his voice. “How is it?”
You shook your head with a frown. “Not good. We have two loaves of bread, one gallon of milk, three boxes of cereal and a jar of peanut butter. There’s no way we can stretch that out for all of these people.”
Mako scowled in frustration, running a hand through his brown hair. “Shit. Did you call up everyone on that list I gave you?”
“Yes. All of them said they weren’t in a position to help us right now…”
“Of course not,” he huffed, folding his arms over his chest. “We’ve exhausted all of our options. We have no choice but to close our doors for now.”
“But, Mako-san -” You bit your lip, eyes scanning the room full of people that were waiting for their food. “We can’t just -“
“I know!” He snapped angrily, startling the people nearby. He sent them an apologetic look before leaning toward you. “I know that, but we don’t have any choice.” Mako took a few deep breaths before stepping over to the center of the room, clearing his throat. “Can I have everyone’s attention, please?”
The soft voices of the crowd slowly disappeared until the room was silent, everyone staring at him. Your heart ached, the other employees exchanging sad looks because they already knew what he was going to say.
“A couple of days ago, the supply truck bringing us food for the next month was attacked and the food taken. Because of this…” He paused, biting his lip as the crowd shifted nervously, exchanging worried looks.
Your phone buzzed in your pocket and you tugged it out, seeing your boyfriend’s name on the screen. You tried your best not to sound sad or worried, turning your back to Mako as if that would block the sound. “I can’t talk right now, I’m -“
Ice cut you off. “Come outside, baby.“
“Huh?”
“Trust me.”
With a furrowed brow, you made your way through the crowd, stepping outside. You shivered as the cold wind wrapped around you, but that was the last thing on your mind. You instantly recognized the shiny supercars that sat in front of the food bank and your heart skipped a beat. What were the Mighty Warriors doing here?
The door to Ice’s car opened and he stepped out, eyes locking with yours.
“What are you doing here?” you questioned, watching as the others exited their vehicles and started to direct large box trucks into the parking lot. “What’s going on?”
His hands found your waist, a frown on his lips. “You should have told me.”
“Sarah told you, didn’t she?”
“Yes and I’m glad she did.”
The breath was knocked from your lungs when Bernie opened the back of the truck, revealing boxes upon boxes filled with food items. It was way more than what the food bank usually received in a month’s time.
“Ice,” you breathed out, tears stinging at your eyes. “That had to cost so much, I… I swear I’ll pay you back!”
He scoffed in disbelief. “You still don’t get it, do you?”
“Huh?” You looked at him in confusion, cheeks darkening when he took you by the chin, leaning his face toward your own.
“You’re mine, baby. Everything I own belongs to you, too. My money is your money and that?” His gaze flickered to the truck before finding yours again with an intensity you had only seen when he was fighting. “That is a small price to pay for your happiness.”
“Ice, I -“
He cut you off with his lips, hand pressing against the small of your back to bring your body against his. You tilted your head to deepen the kiss, arms wrapping around his neck.
Mako slowly stepped outside, his eyes wide as he watched the men carrying the boxes inside. “It’s a Christmas miracle!”
The comment made you laugh, breaking the kiss. You sent your boyfriend an apologetic look before addressing Mako. “It’s October, Mako-san.”
“I know that,” he huffed, looking a bit embarrassed and intimidated by the large man you were standing next to. “But a Halloween miracle hardly has the same ring to it.”
“That’s fair,” you laughed, turning your attention back to your boyfriend.
He adored the way your eyes sparkled with happiness and love. He knew then that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with you, that he wanted to spend the rest of his life making you happy.
His forehead rested against your own. “Move in with me.”
You looked at him in surprise. “Eh?”
“I want to live with you,” he explained softly, pulling you into a slow, sensual kiss. “For the rest of my life.”
Your cheeks burned at the implication of the words and you were unable to hold back your smile as you nodded, claiming his lips again.

I apologize, I don’t know who made this art, but I need to share it for thoughts ok 😭 I’m so obsessed with the idea of bunny!hybrid Deku, I genuinely think I’m gonna start going insane. Like I’m foaming at the mouth.
I just imagine you come home one day, calling out for him, only to not hear anything back. You go to check in the bedroom. He’s laying there in bunny form, his wittle nose buried in the sheets to stay warm, his ears laying back to show that he’s dead asleep and has been for quite some time.
So you go to over to him. You crouch by the side of the bed and start to gently scratch between his ears and kiss the top of his cute bunny head while cooing him awake. With a yawn and a tap of his foot, he wakes up, looking at you, only to realize that you’re much bigger than he is, which means he must’ve shifted into bunny form when he was sleeping 🥺 He gets all embarrassed and hides again— But you keep kissing him while telling him that it’s okay. You think he’s adorable. He shouldn’t rush to getting back into human form. It’s okay. He starts to sniff your arm. His lil bunny nose is twitching like crazy.
You get the hint and lift him into your arms. He’s so small 🥺 His green fur is so so soft 🥺 And he just immediately plops in your arms like a baby. His stomach is up, his legs in the air, ears flung over your forearm/elbow, and he’s slowly closing his eyes again. You wanna spoil your boy, so you go to make snacks for when he’ll wake up— Transforming into bunny form is easy for him, but transforming back into human form has always been difficult. It’s so strenuous. He gets tired and weak whenever it happens, so having his favorite snacks readily available to regain his strength is crucial.
So while he’s falling asleep as he’s cradled in one of your arms, you use the other to put snacks together for him 🥺🥺🥺 Sweet, sweet boy. His leg kicks every so often when something happens in his dreams. He gets a cute lil sneeze at one point that wakes him up briefly. You give him a baby carrot to chew on to help him relax again. 🥺 Oh, my baby 😭😭😭
When the snacks are ready, you scratch his tummy to wake him up again, his leg kicking happily at the touch. You tell him that it’s time as you set him down on the couch, kissing between his ears again as a reassurance that it’ll be alright. It takes him a minute. He’s still sleepy and content with bunny form, but you both know that it’s bad for him to stay in it long term……. When he’s back, his leg is still tapping the couch excitedly, and his bunny ears haven’t gone away at all. You smile and scratch between them. He turns a bright shade of red and tries to hide his twitching nose in his shoulder, but you tilt his head up by the chin and kiss him, telling him how much you love him and how lucky you are to have him 😭😭😭😭
As he’s enjoying his snacks, he’s half awake while allaying in your arms. Your lil bunny 🥺

Sorry for how long this is. My mind is occupied with thoughts of Danny today (and most days)... Just imagine you've been dating for a while. You’ve gotten to know not just him, but the rest of the guys and their families. The boys are on tour, and you’ve been spending as much time traveling with them as possible, but you haven’t been able to be there the whole time. It’s been several weeks since you’ve seen Danny, and you’ve been talking every single day, but of course that’s not enough. You’re sure he’ll pounce on you the moment he next sees you, and you can’t wait any longer for that to happen. Instead of waiting patiently for the next planned trip, you rearrange your schedule so that you can surprise him at their next show. When they arrive at the hotel, you’re already there waiting. [I’m imagining this being like one huge suite that they’re all sharing. Or maybe not even a hotel, but a rented house or cabin or something.] Danny happens to be the first one in the door. He walks in and sees you and the shock quickly turns to a huge grin, and he quite literally picks you up and carries you off the one of the bedrooms–any of the bedrooms, it couldn’t possibly matter which–before you can even say hello to the Kiszkas. You don’t think they even saw that you were there. His mouth is on yours before the door can even fully swing shut behind you. Before you know it, you’re on the bed with him under you, straddling his waist. Those frenzied, desperate initial kisses have calmed to a slow, thorough makeout sesh. Danny’s hands are on you, sliding up, ready to undress you. Movement in the corner of your eyes draws your gaze up to find Sam standing in the doorway, amused and maybe just a little embarrassed to be interrupting. He points out that you and Danny are, regrettably, in his room, but insists that it doesn’t matter, he can take another room. He turns to go just as Jake comes in, head down, focused on the notebook in his hands, talking about a very pressing issue regarding whatever song they had all been writing. You’re upright but still stradling Danny on the bed, and he’s watching upside down from where he lays as Josh joins them in the room too. “Oh hey!” he says to you, causing Jake to look up from his notebook and realize that you’re there and they’ve all now interrupted what was supposed to be a romantic surprise reunion. (To his credit, he’s the only one who looks even the slightest bit remorseful for the intrusion.) You start to shift to get off of Danny, telling them that they should work on their song, that you and Danny can “catch up” later. He grabs your hand and says, “No, you stay. They can leave.” They all agree and start to leave, just as the front door opens and several very recognizable voices are heard in the hallway. The Wagners and the Kiszkas are all there to hang out before that night’s show. Danny throws his head back and groans loudly. The guys snicker. You hop off of him, and he sits up and then stands, subtly adjusting his pants. You smile knowingly and kiss his cheek. “You poor thing,” you whisper teasingly. You’ll make it up to him later, and you both know it’ll be worth the wait.
Omg this is so cute! I love this, I know the Kiszkas would be so insufferable at first and trying to bother you two before leaving, making Danny so annoyed, you're just happy to see them all.

Diabolik Lovers CHAOS LINEAGE ー Laito [Labyrinth Ending]
ー The scene starts inside a mysterious chamber
*Rustle*
Laito: ...Uu...
( ...I’m alive...? I could have sworn I died after falling from that cliff... )
( Also...Where am I...? )
Uu...Cough, cough...What is...this stench...?
( The intense, nauseating smell of blood...For starters, I should get up and get a feel of the situaーー )
*Thud*
Laito: Eh? ...What’s...this...? Ayato-kun? Kanato-kun...?
( They’re all bleeding...and dead...? Don’t tell me, did they die during the fight over there...? )
( Right! Where is she!? I don’t see her anywhere...! )
ー The scene shifts to the entrance hall
Laito: ( I didn’t think I’d find myself back at this Castle...Seems like I safely made it out of that cage. )
( But it doesn’t seem like anyone else’s around. I can’t even smell her... )
Hey, Yui-chan! Where are you!?
Answer me, please!!
( It’s no use, she’s not here either...But everyone came back to this Castle. )
( She must surely be somewhere as well...! )
ー Laito starts running around, looking for Yui
*TIMESKIP*
ー The scene shifts to the outside of Eden
Laito: Hey! Where are you!? Show yourself!
( Dammit! I can’t believe she’s not outside either. Are there any places left where I haven’t looked...? )
ー He continues running
Monologue
In what followed,
I found myself running around, looking for her like a madman.
However, no matter where or how long I searched,
she was nowhere to be found.
Every time the worst case scenario flashed through my head,
I desperately tried to shake off those thoughts.
ーー It’ll be okay. She’s alive.
Repeatedly telling myself so.
I frantically dashed through the Castle,
searching solely for herーー
ー The scene shifts to the flower garden
Laito: Hey...Where are you...? I’m begging you, show yourself...
ー Laito spots her in the distance
Yui: ...
Laito: ( Eh...? Could that be...? )
Yui: ...
Laito: ( It wasn’t my eyes playing tricks on me! Thank god. She is alive... )
ー Laito walks up to her
Laito: Yui-chan! You’re safe and sound...!
Yui: ...
Laito: ...What’s wrong? Hey? Are you injured? Do you feel sick?
Why...? Why are you looking at me like that...?
ー Karlheinz arrives to the scene
Karlheinz: ...The love which almost came to fruition between Adam and Eve. Rotted and faded away instead. (1)
Laito: ...!? Why are you here...? You rarely ever show up otherwise.
Could you get away from her, please? She’s mine.
Karlheinz: Laito. You are no longer qualified to become Adam.
Laito: ...What are you talking about...?
Karlheinz: That place was a space crafted through magic. A cut off World which could not be influenced by outer forces.
By leaving that place, you surpassed space.
Laito...You let go of Eve’s hand, did you not?
Laito: ...W-Well...Back then...
Karlheinz: When leaving the area, she fell into a crack of space.
She wandered there all alone. In that place where time nor space exist.
While it may have only seemed like a couple of seconds to you, she had to endure several decades of living in solitude. There is no way a human’s mind could endure that.
Laito: Don’t tell me...Her mind broke...?
Yui: Laito-kun...?
Laito: ...! You know who I am!?
Yui: Hey, why? Why did you...let go of my hand...back then...?
Laito: ...Eh...?
Yui: ...I trusted you...
Karlheinz: When I found her caught in one of the gaps of the space continuum of space, it was already too late.
Can you imagine just how hopeless she felt after the man she loved let go of her?
Her heart no longer lies with you.
Laito: No way...
Yui: ...
Laito: Hey...I care about you more than anyone else, you know?
Didn’t I tell you that I love you more than anything...and that I want to be together...?
Yui: ...
Laito: Please. It doesn’t matter what you say, just speak to me?
Smile at me like you always would...Hey, Yui-chan!
Yui: ...
Laito: Hah...Haha...Excuse me...? You no longer...
( She will no longer...give me her love... )
Karlheinz: You brought this upon yourself. ...Let us go, Eve.
Yui: Yes...Karlheinz-sama.
ー Yui leaves with Karlheinz
Laito: Why are you going with him? Even though we promised to be together forever...
Even though...I still love you...so very deeply...
( If only I hadn’t let go of her hand back then...If I had done everything to prevent getting separated from her... )
Aah...Aaaah!!
*SCENE SHIFT*
Karlheinz: So this is how it ends for Adam and Eve...huh?
Seems like my plan failed once againーー
ーー THE END ーー
Translation notes
(1) In the original Japanese dialogue, he speaks of a fruit which almost ripened. Since the expression ‘love comes to fruition’ exists in English, I thought this would be a fitting way to translate it.

Rising Action
Shikamaru sits on the rooftop of the Nara compound with a cup of hot tea in his hands as the wind blows through his long, damp hair. He’s fresh from a shower, so the raven locks are loose and flowing over the back of his shoulder blades. A dark long-sleeved shirt and matching sweatpants adorn his thin frame.
It’s a cold, stormy day. The grey and puffy clouds in the sky above him signal the storm that’s sure to come. He shivers and moves to sit criss-cross-applesauce.
Naruto has always hated this kind of weather… Shikamaru can imagine the Jinchuriki now, whining about how the rain is going to mess up his hair and impede his training. He laughs at the thought and takes a sip from the mug clasped in his hands.
Just then, the hatch to the roof is opened. Shikamaru peers behind his shoulder to see no other than his father, Shikaku Nara, coming onto the roof with a lit blunt held between two fingers. Either he wants to come enjoy the view of the clouds as well, or he wants to talk to Shikamaru about something. Shikamaru shifts uncomfortably at the latter thought and stares back up at the clouds as Shikaku sits next to him.
“Hey, kiddo,” The older man greets with half a smile and stares at him with curious onyx eyes. “What are you up to?”
Shikamaru struggles to answer him. He tries not to lie- lying to his father has always been difficult- but he doesn’t want to tell the truth either, because the truth is that he’s thinking about Naruto yet again. The Akatsuki keep attacking, Sasuke keeps showing his face, more and more Jinchuriki have been captured… And Shikamaru is fully aware that this is going to be a full on war between the five major ninja villages and the Akatsuki. That thought is a terrifying one in itself. Even more terrifying, however, is the thought of dying in this upcoming war without getting to tell Naruto that he’s in love with him.
They’ve been friends since they were children with Shikamaru being one of the few children in their academy class to accept and love Naruto for who he was. Maybe his love wasn’t- isn’t- so open and gushy like Hinata’s or Choji’s, but it’s always been there. It’ll always be there. Naruto is a kind and passionate person. Shikamaru can’t help but be in love with him, even after all these years.
Saying something about it is the logical thing to do, it always has been. He should’ve told Naruto the second he realized back when they were still kids about to graduate from the ninja academy. Love isn’t logical, though, and Shikamaru is as terrified of rejection as most people are. He resigned himself to silence in hopes that being on different cell units and being apart for years on end would make the intense crush fizzle out. It didn’t work, as his feelings only got stronger, morphing from a childish crush to genuine love.
After far too long of not saying anything, Shikamaru answers.
“Just thinking.”
A pause, and then, Shikaku is holding out his blunt in front of Shikamaru.
“...Want some?”
Shikamaru blinks. His mother would kill both of them if she knew about this, she’s already lost her shit the few times Shikamaru has come home smelling of cigarette smoke.
“Uh, are you sure? I don’t think I’m old enough for that,” Shikamaru nervously laughs and scratches the back of his neck.
“I know you smoke cigarettes, don’t pretend you haven’t smoked weed too,” Shikaku scoffs. “You’re old enough to be a Jonin, old enough to kill people for your job, you’re old enough to smoke and drink. I won’t tell your mom.”
“Eh, okay, then. Sure.”
And so, Shikamaru takes the blunt and smokes it. The two men pass it back and forth while falling into a comfortable silence. Occasionally, the wind will blow smoke from Shikaku’s drags into Shikamaru’s face, but he doesn’t mind it all too much. The weed itself isn’t that strong- not strong enough to make him feel anything, at least. The act of smoking itself is comforting, though. It reminds him of Asuma.
Things are quiet for long enough to provide Shikamaru with a false sense of relief. He thinks that maybe his father really did just want to come hang out with him and watch the clouds on this peaceful evening. That relief is shattered when Shikaku places a hand on his shoulder and looks at him intensely.
“Shikamaru, what’s wrong?”
Shikamaru’s stomach drops. Against his better judgment, he averts his gaze and lies through his teeth.
“Nothing.”
“You’re my son, I know you better than most people do,” Shikaku sighs. He sounds more concerned than anything. “That lie may work on your friends, but it won’t work on me. You’ve been so in your feelings lately that everyone has noticed, and that’s not like you. Your composure is slipping. Do I need to get you in with a therapist? Ino and Choji are worried about you. Your mom’s worried about you, I’m worried about you, and I know it’s not about the Akatsuki.”
“How could that not be what it’s about?” Shikamaru huffs. He crosses his arms defensively. How is it that his family is able to see right through him? He finds it so incredibly frustrating. At the same time, though, he internally scolds himself for even thinking that way. There are so many people he knows that don’t have the privilege of having stupid conflicts with their parents- Kiba, whose father was never around, Naruto and Sasuke, who lost both sets of their parents so tragically, Lee, whose parents disowned him for his inability to use Ninjutsu and Genjutsu, Neji and Hinata, who both lost their parents to the inner turmoil of their clan. “There’s a chance that we’re all going to die in the next few days. That doesn’t scare you?”
“Tch, of course not,” Shikaku answers like death has no consequence. Shikamaru stares at him with wide eyes as he puts the blunt out against the top of the roof. “I’ve been faced with death enough times to come to terms with the idea of it, and I know the same applies to you. So, what is it that you’re actually scared of, son?”
Shikamaru starts to crack. His father is going to get the truth out of him whether he likes it or not, just like he always does.
“Compared to everything else that’s going on right now, it’s stupid.”
“It’s not stupid if it’s bothering you this much.”
“It’s about Naruto.”
Much to Shikamaru’s embarrassment, Shikaku laughs. His ears and cheeks burn bright red at the loud cackle that comes from between the older man’s chapped lips. He pouts and looks away.
“You still haven’t told him how you feel?” Shikaku asks while wiping tears of laughter from his eyes, having been fully aware of Shikamaru’s predicament since the younger man came home from the academy one day panicking because of his crush.
Shikamaru still remembers that day and how he so childishly spat out his feelings for Naruto in the form of word vomit to his parents at the kitchen table over a bowl of his mom’s overly salted udon. Thankfully, his parents are more accepting than most. That night, they reassured him that it was okay to love or like someone- even someone of the same gender. They wiped his tears, patted his back, and let him have his favorite mochi for dessert.
“Why would I? He has a million other things going on right now, Dad,” Shikamaru argues. For his own sake, he should tell Naruto the truth, but he knows it would be incredibly selfish. Naruto has the weight of the world on his shoulders right now. Why would Naruto want him of all people, anyway? He has Hinata, who has loved him for even longer than Shikamaru has. Even if the two aren’t dating yet, Shikamaru is just waiting for it to happen. Surely, if Naruto doesn’t end up reciprocating Hinata’s obvious feelings in the end, he’ll find someone else. There are plenty of girls their age who have shown interest in him since he saved the village from Pain. “Plus… He’s special. He’s the Jinchuriki who’s saved the village time and time again, and I’m just a regular ninja. I’m fine with that- I have no qualms about it. All I’ve ever wanted is a normal, boring life, but… Naruto probably wants more, and he probably wants someone who’s as special as he is, which I’m not.”
“Look, I hate to have to be the one to tell you this, but you’ve had a crush on that boy since you were in the academy together,” Shikaku points out and pats Shikamaru’s back just like he did that one night over udon and mochi. “Ignoring how you feel clearly hasn’t worked at all, has it?”
“Sadly, no. It hasn’t.”
“Then neither will wallowing in self-pity about it, Shikamaru. You’re just going to put yourself through more pain than it’s worth for a childhood crush that may not even return your feelings.”
Shikamaru winces. He couldn’t even imagine what it would be like to be rejected like Naruto… No, he doesn’t want to imagine it. He knows it would be God awful with the blond tripping over himself to apologize for not returning the feelings while insisting that they can still be friends and that it won’t change anything. Shikamaru knows that relationships don’t work like that, though. Friendships are forever changed once romantic feelings are put on the table. Him confessing will make things awkward if Naruto doesn’t reciprocate.
“Ouch. Aren’t you supposed to reassure me that he loves me back because I’m so smart and amazing? I thought that’s what parents were supposed to do.”
“Well, I’m not going to lie to you,” Shikaku shrugs, as blunt as ever. It’s something that Shikamaru has always appreciated about him. “I have no idea how he feels, that’s why you need to man up and talk to him already.”
“You’re right… That’s what’s been bothering me these last few days. I’m not afraid of death, but I am afraid of one of us dying before I get the chance to tell him the truth.”
“Then tell him now,” Shikaku says like it’s that easy.
“I know that’s what I need to do, I’m just…” For the first time since Asuma died, Shikamaru cries. He tries to swallow the tears that are welling up in his eyes only for them to come pouring out at the same time that a sob falls from his lips. Once more, he spews word vomit about this stupid bullshit to his poor father who probably has much more important things to be worried about right now. As soon as the first tear falls from his onyx eyes, Shikaku is leaning over to wrap his long arms around Shikamaru’s smaller frame to envelop him in a warm hug. “God, I’m so scared. What if I say something and it changes everything between the two of us?”
“Shikamaru, I promise it’ll be okay no matter how he reacts,” Shikaku reassures Shikamaru while running his thin, scarred fingers through the younger man’s tangled hair. Shikamaru leans into the touch and cries even harder. “But you need to do this for your own sake. It’s hard to see you struggling like this.”
“I know,” He sniffles.
“...Why don’t we clear our minds over a game of shogi? Your mom should have dinner finished in a little bit.”
Shikaku lets go, so Shikamaru pulls away and wipes the tears from his eyes before nodding.
“I’d like that.”
~
Unsurprisingly, Shikamaru’s resolve is strengthened by the conversation with his father. He’s scared shitless, but he knows that if he’s to have any peace before things get worse with the Akatsuki, he needs to tell Naruto the truth.
Naruto is the most beautiful soul on the planet, though, so Shikamaru can’t make a fool of himself by showing up at the man’s doorstep with nothing in hand so he can burden him with his feelings. He stops by Yamanaka Flowers to get a bouquet of marigolds the following evening. He doesn’t know if Naruto likes flowers or what his favorite kind of flower would be if he did, but marigolds are bright and pretty just like Naruto himself, so Shikamaru figures they’ll work just fine for what he’s trying to accomplish.
When he gets to Naruto’s apartment, he’s surprised to find that Naruto isn’t there despite it being past six in the evening. He knows that the Jinchuriki isn’t out of town or assigned on any missions right now since he’s focusing on training for the upcoming conflict, so he must be somewhere else. After checking Ichiraku Ramen and finding the place void of anyone (except for Tsunade and Sakura), he goes to the next place that Naruto frequently inhabits; that lonely wooden swing outside of the academy.
The sun sets over the horizon as Shikamaru approaches Naruto from behind and taps his shoulder. The blond damn near falls out of the swing before managing to gain his composure and turning to face Shikamaru with a grin.
“Hey,” Shikamaru greets while holding the bouquet of flowers behind his back. “I thought I’d find you here.”
“Shikamaru!” Naruto, as warm and as welcoming as ever, wraps his arms around Shikamaru for a hug without even thinking about it. He pulls away too fast for Shikamaru’s liking, though. “Hey, man, what’s up?”
“It’s complicated, but first,” Shikamaru pauses to scrutinize Naruto’s expression. From far away, he was so distracted that he didn’t notice Shikamaru approaching, and he looked pretty deep in thought. Then, as soon as Shikamaru made his presence known, he forced a smile onto his face. “What’s up with you? You look pretty depressed.”
“Oh, it’s nothing, just…” Naruto laughs, then shakes his head. It’s clear that he’s a lot more melancholy than usual and Shikamaru wants to get to the bottom of why before adding any additional stress into the Genin’s already stressful life. “No, it’s nothing.”
“Seriously? You can talk to me, you know. I won’t tell anyone.”
“I’m just stressed. I know everyone is depending on me…” Naruto admits and stares down at the ground to avoid Shikamaru’s gaze. It’s true that everyone is banking on Naruto being able to pull through this without allowing the Akatsuki to capture him and the Nine Tails. Naruto is constantly energetic and spouting nonsense about how he’s not going to give up, about how he’s going to persevere no matter what. With all of the pressure that he’s facing to stay strong in the face of this adversity, Shikamaru isn’t surprised that Naruto crumbles like this when he’s alone. I know all our friends are going to be trying to protect me, too. What if I fail? What if I’m not good enough?”
“Naruto…” Shikamaru doesn’t know exactly what to say because he can’t understand anything that Naruto is going through. Naruto is in a unique positon, and most of the others who would understand are dead. All Shikamaru can do is reach forward, place a reassuring hand on Naruto’s shoulder, and offer his own perspective. “I can’t promise you we’ll be okay at the end of this because I have no way of telling the future. What I can promise you is that you’re plenty good enough. None of this that has happened lately has been your fault and it shouldn’t be your responsibility… It just so happens that there are people in this world who want the power of the tailed beasts for their own selfish desires. It’s unfortunate, but that doesn’t mean the weight of the world should have to be on your shoulders alone. You have so many friends who are backing you, including myself, so don’t think you have to act strong all the time.”
Naruto starts to cry. Shikamaru has no idea how to handle it, so he does what he’s always been best at and stands there awkwardly after setting the bouquet of flowers down on the grass beneath their feet. Maybe now wasn’t the best time to confess, after all…
“Shikamaru, you’re so cool…!” Naruto exclaims while frantically wiping his tears with the obnoxiously orange sleeves of his sweatsuit. “How come you can be so calm and collected during all this and I can’t?”
“Believe it or not, Naruto, I have problems, too. They may not be as convoluted as yours, but still… I’m not a stone wall either. I’m a human being who’s weak at times and feels negative emotions very strongly. And that’s okay.”
“Really?”
“Yeah. You know, I’m still not over Asuma’s death… I still feel like it’s my fault. I have nightmares about it almost every time I try to sleep. Avenging him did nothing to bring me any sort of closure. I’m killing my lungs by smoking daily because it’s the only thing that makes me feel like I’m close to him again now that he’s gone,” Shikamaru sighs and wipes the tears that are welling up in his own eyes. To his relief, Naruto seems to gather his composure enough to stop crying. “We’re all struggling like you are, Naruto… As ninja, we’ve all gone through significant loss, through pain. That’s why we should rely on each other instead of trying to shoulder the burden of it all by ourselves.”
“Yeah, I guess you’re right…”
“Uh, Naruto… Speaking of,” Shikamaru clears his throat and bends down to pick up the bouquet of marigolds. Then, he pushes it into Naruto’s hands. The blond holds the flowers and stares down at them with a baffled expression. “I guess doing this tonight is kind of a dick move on my end, but with everything that’s been going down with the Akatsuki lately, I’m concerned that there’s a chance we don’t have much time left. So, I’m just gonna go ahead and get it out of the way.”
“Shikamaru, don’t say that-!”
“Naruto, I appreciate you trying to reassure me, but please just listen. I need you to hear me out- this is important to me.”
“Oh… Okay, sorry. Go ahead.”
“If anything happens to either of us- or both of us- I want you to know that I love you very, very much, and that will never change.”
“I love you, too!” Naruto exclaims, and it hurts. Shikamaru knows that Naruto means those words in the kindest, most sincere, friendliest way possible. They’re so far from what Shikamaru means when he thinks them. “You know that, don’t ‘cha, Shikamaru?”
“Of course, but… That’s not what I meant. I know you love me platonically, we’ve been friends for a very long time, and I wouldn’t change that for anything in the world,” Shikamaru clarifies. Naruto stares back at him like a dumb, confused puppy, his ocean blue eyes still sparkling with tears and his tan cheeks bright red. “However, the love I feel for you is different. I’m sure you get offers all the time, especially after the incident with Pain, but… I’m in love with you. I’ve loved you since we were kids.”
“Shikamaru, that’s not funny!” Naruto pouts, seemingly convinced that Shikamaru must be joking.
Shikamaru can’t help but be frustrated. He holds his head in his hands and tugs at his hair before raising his voice in a desperate attempt to get his point across.
“I’m not joking! Why would I joke about something like this? It’s serious shit, Naruto!”
“Okay, okay, sorry!” Naruto rushes out an apology and nervously shifts his weight between his toes and the heels of his feet while passing the marigolds back and forth between his hands. “I’m just confused, okay?”
“What is there to be confused about? I’m in love with you and I have been for a long time. It’s pretty simple.”
Shikamaru expects a lot of things; a kind rejection that ends with something like ‘but let’s still stay friends’, an awkward offer to go on a date, questions about how long he’s been gay for and why. What he couldn’t have possibly prepared himself for or expected was Naruto’s actual response.
“You’re so smart and capable, and there’s a ton of girls who chase after you that you don’t pay any attention to! So, out of everyone in the village you could have, why me? You’re a Jonin! You could have just about anyone you wanted! I swear, I thought you and Temari had a thing going on.”
“Temari and I have never been anything more than close friends, but… I don’t know why it’s so hard for you to understand. I’m gay, I don’t like women like that. I don’t even like most people like that. You’re the only one I’ve ever loved.”
“No, you don’t get it!” Naruto huffs. It seems like he’s getting fed up with trying to get his point across, but Shikamaru just doesn’t understand. “I’m not good enough for you- compared to you, I’m a loser! You’ve always been smarter than me, more talented than me… People just like you better, y’know?”
“None of that shit matters, though! People don’t like you because they’re fucking stupid and they don’t get how amazing you are, Naruto. It’s a privilege to be your friend. You are smart, and you are talented, it’s just that no one gets that because you’re not conventional,” Shikamaru insists through the blinding anger that tries to consume him when he hears Naruto spew this uncharacteristically self-deprecating horseshit. “Look, if you don’t love me back, that’s fine. I was fully prepared for you to reject me. Me confessing was more for my peace of mind than it was an attempt to get you to date me or something, so it’s fine, really. What isn’t fine is you talking down on yourself and saying you’re not good enough for me. It’s fucking bullshit.”
Shikamaru turns his back to leave, only for Naruto to grab him by the wrist with his spare hand. Shikamaru looks over his shoulder as a flicker of hope ignites deep in his chest and makes his heart skip a beat.
“But I- I think I do love you, Shikamaru!”
“You think?” Shikamaru deadpans. How could he have not guessed that confessing his love to Naruto would turn into something so ridiculous? He should’ve known. “Love isn’t a ‘maybe’, ‘I think’ sort of emotion. You’re either in love with me or you’re not. You don’t have to pretend to love me like that to spare my feelings, I can handle rejection.”
“I… I am in love with you,” Naruto whispers. The expression that takes over his face is a cross between bafflement and utter confusion that makes Shikamaru’s face burn red with a mixture of relief, adoration, and secondhand embarrassment. “I guess I’ve just been so busy that I never thought about it, but of course I’m in love with you! It all makes sense now!”
“You can’t be serious,” Shikamaru groans and facepalms. If he never would’ve said anything… Naruto may have never realized. “You’re in love with me and you’re only just now realizing it?”
“Yes?” Naruto answers so loudly that it echoes in the clear night. “I just- I always felt different around you than with all my other friends! Like that gushy feeling and your heart skipping a beat that you see in the romance novels, you know?”
“You’re ridiculous.”
“I know,” Naruto smiles from ear to ear, so beautifully that Shikamaru can’t help but pull the blond into his arms and hug him as tightly as possible.
“I love you,” He says against Naruto’s ear as the blond hugs him back.
The marigolds are a little crushed, but neither of them care.
“I love you, too.”
After a few minutes, Shikamaru pulls away and looks down at Naruto, who is staring up at him with stars in his ocean blue eyes.
“Shit’s about to get real soon… I doubt we’ll have a lot of time to hang out,” Shikamaru starts. “Do you… Maybe want to come stay at my place? You could eat dinner with my family. I’m sure they’d love to get to know you.”
“Really? Are you sure? You’re not like, embarrassed by me?”
“Really, Naruto… I just confessed my undying love to you and you think I’m going to be embarrassed to bring you to my family? That’s the dumbest shit I’ve ever heard,” Shikamaru laughs. “Of course I’m sure. I wouldn’t have asked if I weren’t.”
“Okay! If you’re sure about this, then let’s go!”
The two start walking away from the academy and in the direction of the Nara compound, side by side.
“...Can I hold your hand?”
Naruto doesn’t answer out loud. Instead, he offers Shikamaru a calming smile and reaches over to hold his hand. Shikamaru can’t help but smile back as he intertwines their fingers and laughs.
Maybe things will be okay in the end, after all.

As the Moon Rises
Chapter 6: Behind Gilded Masks
I’m eagerly rewriting As the Moon Rises, which was originally written back in 2017, in anticipation of Dragon Age: Veilguard, channeling my excitement into refining the story. Summary: Isera Lavellan, at her mother’s behest, is sent to assist her twin brother, Banreas—the Inquisitor—in his mission to stop a force determined to bring about the world’s end. Together, they uncover long-buried secrets of their shared family history while Isera finds herself drawn to a mysterious non-Dalish elven mage whose knowledge of her heritage runs far deeper than she could have imagined. As the stakes rise, Isera must navigate this dangerous journey of discovery, where the past holds as much peril as the looming threats of the present. Solas x F!Lavellan.
[Ch1] [Ch2] [Ch3] [Ch4] [Ch5] [Ch6]
“I want you to come,” Banreas pleaded, his tone earnest as Isera sprawled out on his bed. “It’ll be fun! There will be people—" Isera scoffed, her gaze fixed blankly on the ceiling. She had been listening to him beg for the last hour to attend the ball at Halamshiral, and the thought of it felt overwhelming. The idea of mingling in a crowd, dressed in finery, seemed worlds away from her current state of mind.
“I hate people,” she replied in a monotone voice, her expression unchanging. Isera couldn’t understand why Banreas was so insistent on her attending. She had no true affiliation with the Inquisition beyond being related to its leader, and the thought of navigating a ballroom full of strangers felt daunting. The noise, the laughter, the expectations—it all seemed unbearable to her at that moment.
“Well, there’s dancing!” he offered, his voice brightening with excitement. He leaned closer, trying to gauge her reaction. Isera rolled her eyes, her skepticism evident. The thought of twirling around a dance floor filled with eager couples only heightened her reluctance. “Dancing doesn’t change the fact that I still hate people,” she countered, crossing her arms defiantly as she returned her gaze to the ceiling.
“There will be food,” Banreas continued, a hopeful note in his voice. He leaned back slightly, as if the promise of a feast could sway her. Isera let out a small, humorless laugh, still staring at the ceiling. “Food doesn’t magically make me enjoy being around people, Ban.” The thought of rich dishes and elaborate spreads did tempt her, but the idea of mingling with guests still felt overwhelming.
“Solas is going. I want Sera to go too. I just need you,” Banreas said, suddenly jumping into bed next to her. The mattress shifted beneath her as he turned to face her, his expression earnest. “Please, sister.” Isera shrugged, remaining unaffected by his plea. The prospect of attending the ball still felt daunting, and his excitement did little to sway her determination to stay put.
The ball was just a few weeks away, and the Inquisition had received an invitation from Grand Duke Gaspard. Josephine had shared that this invitation would cause quite a stir among the nobles, raising eyebrows and igniting gossip throughout the courts of Orlais. The prospect of mingling with the elite, especially during such a politically charged event, added another layer of anxiety for Isera as she grappled with her place within the Inquisition and the expectations that came with it.
“I am not formally part of the Inquisition. Cassandra will be a better choice,” Isera said, gently slapping his arm as she spoke. A teasing smile played on her lips. “I’ve seen how you stare at her.” Her comment hung in the air, lightening the mood between them and momentarily diverting the conversation away from her reluctance.
“I haven’t been staring!” Banreas protested, his cheeks flushing slightly as he sat up, a mix of indignation and embarrassment on his face. He crossed his arms, attempting to appear nonchalant, but Isera could see the corners of his mouth twitching in an effort to suppress a smile.
“You have! Have you seen her fight Iron Bull? Hmmm,” Isera hummed with a giggle, playfully fanning herself as if she were swooning. The lightness in her voice and the sparkle in her eyes made it clear she was enjoying the moment. Banreas couldn’t help but chuckle, the tension between them easing as they shared this playful exchange.
“Like you’re one to talk. I’ve seen you talking more to Solas. He has been spending a lot of time in the clinic,” Banreas deflected, throwing a pillow at her with a grin. Isera only laughed in response, her smile growing larger than life. The lighthearted banter filled the room, pushing aside any lingering doubts and bringing a sense of warmth to their conversation.
“How have you been feeling?” Banreas asked, leaning closer and resting his head on her stomach. The gesture was both comforting and sincere, a reminder of their bond. “I know I’m busy, but if you call for me, sister, I’ll always come.” His words carried a weight of reassurance, and Isera felt a warmth spread through her, knowing that despite everything, he would always be there for her.
Isera laid her head down, sighing softly. “I’m still… something, I guess. I’m not sad, per se. But… it isn’t as intense anymore. Some days… it’s harder. Today isn’t so hard.” Her voice wavered slightly, torn between the urge to be honest and the temptation to lie. But it was her brother, and in that moment, she chose to share her truth, however incomplete it felt.
“I’m sorry… I forced you to leave,” Banreas said, his voice low. The weight of his words hung in the air, and Isera couldn’t help but wonder if he felt guilty for what he had done. He had indeed pushed her out of the Fade, and the thought lingered in her mind like an unanswered question. She glanced at him, searching for signs of remorse or understanding, contemplating the impact of that moment on both of them.
“Well, if we’re both honest, if you hadn’t forced me to leave, I would most likely be dead. It’s fine,” Isera sighed, her tone a mix of resignation and acceptance. “Life isn’t fair, but… I have a gift that others do not.” She reflected on her unique abilities, acknowledging the complexity of her circumstances. It was a bittersweet realization, but one that she had come to embrace in her own way.
“Finding the light in things,” he responded, a gentle smile crossing his face. His words resonated with her, and for a moment, Isera felt a flicker of warmth in her chest. She appreciated his ability to see the silver linings even in the darkest moments. It reminded her that, despite her struggles, there were still sparks of hope to hold onto.
"On most days. I… have made some good friends here,” Isera began, a giggle bubbling up as she spoke. “Cole likes to leave the little frilly cakes on my bed on the really bad days.” The thought of his sweet gesture brought a smile to her face, a reminder of the kindness that surrounded her, even during her toughest moment.
“He is thoughtful, as always, and you have a sweet tooth,’ Banreas replied, playfully jabbing her in the side. Isera laughed, swatting his hand away in mock annoyance. His lighthearted teasing made her feel lighter, and for a moment, the heaviness of their earlier conversation faded into the background.
“Banreas, I would only eat sweets if the cook wouldn’t kick me out,” Isera said, attempting to hit him awkwardly, a playful grin on her face. But as she laughed, a sudden realization dawned on her—why Banreas kept inviting her to the ball. The thought sent a rush of emotions through her, and she turned to him, her expression shifting as she considered the implications of his persistent encouragement.
“You want to annoy the nobility by bringing the elves! The Elven Inquisition?!” Her voice rose in pitch, a mixture of disbelief and amusement. “Josie would not approve of inciting such problems.” Isera curled down, staring at him incredulously as she burst into laughter, the absurdity of the idea making her feel lighter. The thought of turning the ball into a spectacle delighted her, if only for a moment.
“I would never do such a thing, sister,” he replied, his tone dripping with sarcasm, though a broad grin spread across his face. “I only intend to appease the nobility and protect the Empress.” He climbed out of bed, his excitement palpable. “Plus,” he added with a spark in his eyes, “I had this made for you!”
He walked over to his closet and pulled out a mask, his excitement evident. “Here!” he exclaimed as he tossed it onto the bed. The mask was intricately shaped like the horns of a halla, beautifully crafted and painted with enchanted paint. The front sparkled a brilliant white, gradually fading into a shimmering gray that flowed seamlessly into the intertwined horns. It was a stunning piece, alive with magic and artistry.
“Gods! Have you been writing to Mother?” Isera shrieked, grabbing the mask in disbelief. “You do know she used to make me wear the skull of the halla when I would study with the Seers?!” The memory flooded back, a mix of embarrassment and amusement washing over her. She turned the mask in her hands, the weight of nostalgia and the creativity of the design sparking a sense of irony that made her laugh.
He made a face of disgust, scrunching up his nose. “I didn’t know that. Why?” he asked, genuinely curious. Isera couldn’t help but chuckle at his reaction, the image of her wearing the halla skull in her youth both mortifying and amusing. “It was supposed to help me connect with the spirits,” she explained, trying to stifle her laughter.
Banreas looked at her in disbelief. The Dalish had practices that those in the Circle would consider odd, even bordering on blood magic, but nothing quite like wearing the skulls of animals. “Well, I can assure you this one is not made from a real halla,” he said, shaking his head. “But will you go? I need to tell Josie to have the tailor come for you.” His tone shifted to a more serious note, the urgency of the invitation hanging in the air as he awaited her response.
Isera hummed, a mischievous grin spreading across her face. “Yes, but I only agree because I want to cause chaos among the Orlesian nobility. And the food,” she emphasized, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. Banreas cheered, thrusting his hands in the air with pride. “That’s the spirit!” he exclaimed, his excitement infectious as he reveled in her willingness to join him at the ball.
---
Vivienne, Josephine, and Leliana stood around Isera, engaged in a spirited debate over the color of her dress. The tailor quivered with anxiety—perhaps even fear—off to the side as Isera stood tall on a stool, various garments draped around her. Vivienne had taken it upon herself to enchant each swatch of fabric, declaring it was not just for Isera but to create a new fashion statement in the capital. The excitement in the room was palpable, but Isera felt a mix of anticipation and trepidation as she tried to navigate their strong opinions.
“I think the ombré would be best. A deep, velvet red at the top, fading down to a shimmering white,” Leliana suggested, pulling on a piece of fabric with a thoughtful expression. The way she spoke carried a sense of authority, as if she envisioned the entire ensemble perfectly. Isera watched as the fabric glimmered in the light, intrigued by the idea while the other women chimed in with their opinions, the energy in the room swirling with creativity and enthusiasm.
“My dear, we should place roses at the top with a sweetheart neckline. I can enchant them to smell like real roses,” Vivienne hummed in approval, her hand resting thoughtfully under her chin as she assessed Isera. The idea sparked a new wave of excitement, and Isera felt a flutter of anticipation at the thought of the enchanting details. Vivienne's keen eye for elegance blended seamlessly with the whimsy of the fabric, creating a vision that was both beautiful and uniquely her own.
“The red would complement her deep, copper skin beautifully, and the shimmer would be like bright topaz! She will be the gem of the ball!” Josephine giggled, her eyes sparkling with delight. She reached for a thin, opaque fabric, her fingers deftly grasping a golden clasp. “She will need something to cover her shoulders, conveying a sense of modesty while still showing them,” she added, her tone filled with inspiration as she imagined the perfect finishing touches for Isera’s ensemble.
Banreas walked in, donning the chosen formal outfit of the Inquisition, a look of determination on his face. He observed the three women animatedly discussing how to make the best impression. With a bemused smile, he approached his sister, who stood with her arm out to the side like a scarecrow, showcasing the various fabrics draped around her. The contrast between her playful pose and the seriousness of their preparations made him chuckle as he took in the lively scene.
“Having fun?” he whispered, tugging gently on one of the fabrics draped around her. His eyes danced with amusement as he watched the trio of women debate and discuss the perfect elements for her dress.
“I’d rather wear a halla skull and run around naked than stand here being poked with needles,” Isera whispered harshly, her eyes narrowing slightly. “And Josie keeps telling me how to talk to Orlesian nobility. Have you met me? I am a damn druffalo! I do not have the patience for human politics!” The exasperation in her voice was evident, and she shot him a look that mixed amusement with genuine annoyance, her playful spirit shining through despite her discomfort.
“You’ll be all right, sister,” he encouraged with a grin, his eyes sparkling with warmth. It felt odd to see her being dressed up; he had always known her as quick and scrappy. Over the years, whenever he had the chance to see her, she wore simple cloth and armor—nothing flashy that would draw attention. They had fought in a few battles together, and during those times, she had been defensive, moving stealthily on the battlefield to heal and protect. When she did engage in combat, she struck hard and fast, slipping away just before a warrior could intercept the enemy. Seeing her now, adorned and poised, was a transformation that filled him with both pride and amusement.
He, on the other hand, moved faster, having mastered the ability to shoot arrows while running. He rarely allowed himself to be pinned down by the enemy. Banreas recalled a battle they had fought together when human bandits had gotten too close to their camp during one visit. Isera had transformed the battlefield into a treacherous landscape, sending spikes of ice erupting from the ground, creating a complicated maze for the unsuspecting humans. She deftly manipulated the ice, changing its configuration to keep the bandits disoriented and struggling to navigate, showcasing her talent for turning the tide of battle in their favor.
And now she was standing helplessly in his bedroom, held hostage by three of his most influential members of the Inquisition. Soon, all the members of the inner circle would be gathered in Banreas’s quarters, being fitted for their formal wear. Vivienne, Cassandra, Blackwall, Varric, and Dorian were all present, invited based on merit, each being fitted for attire distinct from the usual garb of the Inquisition. Josie had informed them that they would also need to wear masks, a necessary measure to delineate them as separate from the official organization. The room buzzed with energy as fittings took place, laughter mixing with the rustle of fabric, while Isera felt a mix of anxiety and excitement swirl within her.
Vivienne, having played the Game and known in many circles, was, of course, invited in lieu of the Inquisition. Cassandra, as the former Right Hand of the Divine, also received an invitation. Blackwall, despite being a Grey Warden, was celebrated for his many heroic feats on the battlefield, making him a fitting guest. Varric, a world-renowned author, was loved by the Orlesians for his storytelling. Lastly, Dorian was invited from Tevinter, as his presence sparked curiosity among the elite. Each of them brought their own unique flair to the gathering, making it an event charged with potential and intrigue
Those attending as official Inquisition members would include all three advisors, Banreas, Sera, Solas, and the Iron Bull. Isera was set to arrive with the Inquisition members at her brother's request, a decision that distressed Josephine since Isera was not formally a part of the organization and had no connections to Orlais. Leliana had suggested that Cole use his unique skill of making people forget in order to attend as well. He would, of course, remain hidden in the shadows, gathering information while keeping his presence discreet.
The fate of Thedas rested firmly in the Inquisition's hands. If they failed, the likelihood of Corypheus triumphing would increase tenfold. The weight of this knowledge hung heavy in the air, a constant reminder of the stakes involved as Isera prepared for the impending ball. The thought of their mission loomed large, blending the excitement of the evening with the grim reality of the challenges that lay ahead.

New Love, New Haven
Chapter Thirteen: Relations between Wethersfield and New Haven
Pairing: Benjamin Tallmadge x Original Female Character
Summary: Ben and Sadie communicate through letters, but keeping up is harder than it seems.
A/N: I hope you enjoy this update, friends! We're approaching the final chapters, which makes me sad, but we have some fun chapters coming soon!!
New Haven
End of August 1773
Ben’s first letter came as soon as a week after he left town on horseback for Wethersfield. Sadie snatched the letter from her father’s hands. Her sprint caused her father's hair to sway over his forehead.
“Aye! No running in the tavern,” Richard scolded, like Sadie was still a child. She didn’t care. Sadie sat at the end of the bar and ripped the wax-sealed envelope open. Suddenly, the noise of the tavern drowned out as Sadie began to read the letter in Ben’s voice.
Dear Sadie,
I’ve finally settled into my temporary home. I just arrived tonight, and after unpacking, I immediately wanted to write to you so I could send this letter by morning. You would love this abode I’m in. It’s small, but it’s got a lot of character. There’s a fireplace for when winter comes around. I have a big enough bed—anything is better than the small cots Yale made us sleep on. At least my desk is large; perfect for grading papers, reading, and of course, writing to you. I think I’ll find myself doing that a lot here.
I miss you so much. I’ve not gone a day without thinking of you and our last night spent together. It’s on my mind, constantly. I better stop thinking of it now.
I hope you’re enjoying the books I’ve left for you. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on them. I know we may be apart, but my heart feels like it’s with you.
Class starts next week. I can’t wait to tell you about my students.
Yours,
Benjamin Tallmadge
Sadie read and re-read the letter, feeling her heart jump in her chest. This letter easily made her day. She tucked it in her dress’ front pocket and continued the rest of her shift, with Ben tucked in the back of her mind.
☆☆☆☆
That night, Sadie sat up at her desk and began to write her response to Ben.
Dear Benjamin,
I’ve been re-reading Shakespeare’s sonnets. They remind me of you. Reading them makes me feel like there isn’t such a distance between us.
I can hardly wait to hear about how your first class went. I’m sure by the time you receive this letter you’ll already be on your fifth or sixth class. I know your students will love the way you teach, like I do. It’ll be hard for them to be distracted because of how captivating you are. What will you be teaching first? You forgot to mention in your letter. You know I love every detail when it comes to learning.
Your dwelling sounds cozy. I can imagine how it looks. Your desk is large? Similar to the size of the desks at Yale? I bet you and I could fit both our work on there and work side by side. Then again, maybe we wouldn’t get much work done if I were there with you.
I’m sorry if that was crude.
I haven’t stopped thinking of our last night together, either. It makes me yearn for our next one even more.
It’s tough without you and Nathan. I can’t lie. But it’s nice to have Genny here. The tavern is still busy, but I always half expect to see you and Nathan bounding through the doors.
Until your next letter.
Yours,
Sadie Hale
Sadie’s eyelids began to feel heavy. She placed her quill in the ink pot and blew out her candle. Her room felt so very dark, and very cold, without Ben. She laid her paper out for the ink to dry and tucked herself in bed, thoughts of Ben lulling her to sleep.
☆☆☆☆
For many weeks, it looked like that first week without Ben.
Like clockwork, Sadie checked the mail for his letter every week or so and she wouldn’t hesitate to write a response that same night. She loved to receive his letters—it felt like it was Christmas each time a new one came in. What would Ben have to say now? What new updates? How was school going? How was the weather in Wethersfield?
His letters have been positive for the most part, but it wasn’t until Sadie received his last letter, in October, that things started to feel as uncertain as the night he left.
Wethersfield
October 1773
The ocean was so dark blue that it was almost black. The sound of the water running up the shore and then falling back into itself put Ben in a trance. His feet dug into the sand. The night was completely still. The color of the sky matched the color of the ocean, save for the stars that twinkled. He looked up at them as they formed a new constellation, one he hadn’t seen before, one he thinks he’d name Sadie. He’s alone.
And with a jolt, Ben wakes up in his cot, a thin sheen of sweat on his forehead. His tiny room was hot and stuffy. Leaving a window open hadn’t helped at all. Ben kicked the thin sheets off of him and groggily stomped over to his desk. He was sure he was supposed to be up in a few hours for school. The next class is about basic algebra. But Ben’s not thinking about the lesson plan or what comes after that—his thoughts, and now he supposed, his dreams, were consumed by Sadie. He was struggling more than he thought by being so far away from her.
Rubbing his eyes, he sat at his large wooden desk and lit a candle.
Ben stared at the flame for a few moments before he searched for his ink, quill and paper. He began to write a letter to Sadie.
Dear Sadie,
It’s the middle of the night, and I’ve just woken up from a dream about you. I was at the beach alone. I felt completely in solitude. Something about the environment made me feel safe like you were there. And the stars in my dream formed a constellation I hadn’t seen before; it probably doesn’t exist, but when I looked at them, I thought of you. And then I woke up, to this reality of you not being here with me. I miss you terribly. I can hardly wait for the winter. I’m going to try my hardest to see New Haven before I go to Setauket.
Tomorrow’s class is on algebra. I can’t teach them the complex subjects we studied together yet. When I do, I’ll take what I’ve learned from you and incorporate it. I think you’d love my pupils, Sadie. They are young and bright; eager to learn.
I miss you, terribly. Please know that I think of you every waking moment—even when I dream.
Yours,
Benjamin Tallmadge
Ben sighed as he laid the paper out for the ink to dry. He pulled out an envelope and laid it next to the letter to serve as a reminder in the morning to drop it at the post. He wished he had something of Sadie to hold close: a piece of clothing, a chain, one of her bows…anything. Anything, he wished he could hold close to his heart. But he had nothing. Nothing but his memories and whatever they translated to in his dreams.
Feeling a wave of exhaustion hit him again, Ben returns to his cot. It’s so hot, he doesn’t bother throwing his sheets over again.
New Haven
November 1773
It was a misty morning in New Haven, and Sadie was preparing for the day ahead.
New Haven felt much quieter these days, without Nathan coming by in the afternoons. Everything in the town was still the same: she saw the same shops open early, and the same townsfolk coming to the tavern at night, but with Nathan and Ben away, the changes felt like a big ripple in a small pond. Sadie kept to herself and did her chores quietly around the tavern. She helped her father carry new ale barrels up the stairs. She cleaned, she served, she smiled.
She missed Nathan dearly. Sadie kept the thought of him constantly, like carrying a satchel on her shoulder.
And of course, her thoughts always wandered to Ben. But she tried to only think of him at night before she was about to go to bed. It was too painful to think of him during the day—Sadie wouldn’t be able to get anything done if she did. So, she saved him for the night, because the night reminded her of him in so many ways: their late-night secret meetings, meeting him down by the door to go to the shore, that last night they had in her bed…
She laced up her boots and got up from her bed. Before she went downstairs to prep the bar, she paused at her desk, which had Ben’s most recent letter displayed. She picked up the paper and read it again. It was about a dream he’d had of her. Yes, it was November now, and Ben’s most recent letter was from mid-October.
If Sadie’s predictions were right, he should have received her response right before the end of October. But now it was mid-November and almost the holidays. Nathan would be coming back to New Haven in a few weeks, and Ben? Well, she didn’t know, because she hasn’t heard from him.
For a long time, Sadie convinced herself it was because he was busy. Taking on a new teaching job came with a lot of responsibilities. He’d have to keep up with a lot of students and grade a lot of papers. And Sadie knew Ben’s work ethic—he practically threw himself into his work, letting each subject and lesson consume him, he must’ve gotten too busy, Sadie thought. Maybe his lessons got mixed up with his letters. Maybe he was planning on writing her a large update and was saving it for now. Maybe, maybe, maybe.
Maybe he met someone else.
She shooed the thought away as soon it crept into her mind.
Sadie felt her heart wrench as she read and re-read his letter. She was transported back to her late summer evenings with Ben, trading sweet nothings and poetry, his notes…for a moment, she wasn’t pretending like she didn’t miss him. But then she heard her father call from the bar, and Sadie placed the letter back down and went downstairs. With each creak of the step, an image of Ben faded from her mind.
Cleaning the tavern was a good distraction from it all. And it got even better when people began to trickle in, asking for ale or water. Asking Sadie what it was like to be without her brother. Saying they missed Nathan’s shining smile, too. Genny came in around noon, to Sadie’s delight.
“I’ve got great news,” Genny beamed as she met Sadie at the bar. Sadie leaned over and rested her head in her hand.
“Go on!” Sadie urged.
“My father said if we wanted to, and your father would allow it, we could spend the spring next year in Middletown,” Genny said in a hushed tone. “You know, to study the herbs and learn about healing.”
Sadie opened her mouth to reply but found herself at a loss for words. Well, what would happen if Nathan came around then? What if she needed to help her father here? What about Ben? How long would they stay there?
“I…”
“Sadie, what is it?” Genny asked. “I thought you’d be excited. Middletown! A new place.”
“It’s not that I’m not excited. It’s just that I have so much going on here in New Haven. What if I leave and Nathan decides to come back for a weekend? I’ve got to see him. And… you know, there’s Ben,” Sadie explained sheepishly. She felt a dent in her heart when she explained her grievances.
Genny gave her a sympathetic look. “Sadie. You can’t place your life on hold, waiting for other people. Of course, Nathan is your brother—you’ll see him. But Ben? Has he written you back since October?”
Sadie’s face darkened as she looked away, embarrassed. “Not yet.”
Genny shrugged her shoulders. “This would be a good opportunity for us both. Get us both out of here. The boys did it! Why can’t we?”
Sadie bit her lip. You can’t place your life on hold.
“Well, all right. I guess the reality of it is what makes me nervous. I’ll speak to my father tonight. Perhaps, he may be more convinced if your father came in to talk about it. Over ale,” Sadie added.
Genny smiled, “Perfect. I’ll see if he can tonight.”
After Genny left, Sadie felt another dent form in her heart; things were changing and there wasn’t anything she could do about it.
☆☆☆☆
Later that evening, Sadie sat at her desk, contemplating bringing her ink and quill out to write a letter to Ben. Since when did she feel so unsure of herself, when it came to Ben? Would it be strange to send another letter after he hadn’t replied to her? The last she checked, Ben was writing about dreams of her and telling her how much he missed her. What had changed?
After much convincing, Sadie told herself that the purpose of this letter would be to inform Ben of her new ventures starting next spring. She’d be in Middletown, with Genny, studying healing. Middletown was not that far from Wethersfield and Sadie hated the hopeful feeling this thought brought.
Dear Benjamin,
I haven’t heard from you in a while. I hope everything is all right in Wethersfield. I can’t wait to hear about your lessons and pupils. I think I wrote that in my last letter. Are you okay? I’d love to hear from you. It’s been a while.
I’m writing this letter to inform you that next spring I’ll be staying with Genny and her father in Middletown. We will be studying healing and herbs. After her father came in to talk to my father, he was convinced it would be a good learning opportunity and agreed to let me go. Of course, what’s heavy on my mind is what happens to us. But there’s not much I can do if I don’t hear from you. I can’t say no to an opportunity like this.
If it’s meant to be, it will be, you and I.
I’m holding on dearly to what we have, but I can’t hold on forever, Ben.
I really do hope I hear from you soon.
Yours,
Sadie Hale
A tear fell down Sadie’s cheek, splotching the word “Yours.” But Sadie didn't notice when she folded the letter and slipped it into an envelope.

i’ve decided to ramble a bit about an old fnaf au of mine in the hopes it’ll get me to remember it enough to write it ahaha
okok so it’s called Live or Laugh, and it’s a good ol’ michael posses lolbit au. i’ve seen a lot more of those popping up lately (for example i am currently binge reading laughing at tragedy (so good highly recommend i’m in ch. 6 so far)). thought i’d go ahead and go back to mine to get back into writing fnaf lol-
we’re going to ignore that i made this au (and most of them tbh) to be funky for my weird little multiverse things i write
so basically,, it is 1986. michael is sixteen, and lives with henry after he ran away from william about a week after elizabeth’s death. he gets a weird letter from will on his birthday, blah blah he’s doing sl. that’s what’s happening. this set-up is important. and like,, night four of sl is absolutely atrocious and i literally hacked the game to skip it because no. it’s really hard and if you’ve beat it please give me tips i wanna play night five and the custom nights legitimately but uH mike dies on night four for aforementioned reasons. he dies inside the springlock suit.
now if we ever got clarification on what that suit actually looks like or anything i haven’t seen it and am kindly ignoring it. but uh mike is dead and ends up in a springtrap like situation. he’s a dead dude stuck in the suit that killed him where his corpse still is.
oh yeah the suit is lolbit in this au. i coulda made him anything but yk i had an obsession with lolbit when i made this (stares at lolbit art print that lives on my desk).
henry reports mike as missing the next day, very concerned as a man who is taking care of a child that isn’t even his should be. and then william also goes missing, and he’s just. there. the next year, he decides to work as a night guard at his own restaurant under a fake name so he can see what all the rumors about the night shift are about. he works under the fake name fritz smith for six nights and one day. yeah i swapped jeremy and fritz’s worktime for this,, dw jeremy’s still important but on that day henry uh. becomes the bite of 87 victim in LoL and yk i’m learning a lot about writing brain damage incorrectly through playing jeremy in my motw campaign lol from here henry goes on to investigate the ghosts and pretty much just steals all of mike’s night guard roles.
and uh phone dude finds mike in like. a scrap heap that all the old sl stuff got thrown in after so many years. so lolbit just, shows up at fazbear’s fright on night 3 and henry’s just freaking out because “THERE’S ANOTHER???” and “OH MY GOD THAT’S WILLIAM HE WANTS TO KILL ME-”
yeah i still haven’t thought up how exactly they’re gonna reconnect i’ve got like,, three different scenarios running in my brain ahaha
so that’s like, the set-up of this au.
every time i sit down to write it i can’t decide if i want to start from fnaf 2 or fnaf 3. like the scene that my brain imagined that brought this whole au is in pizzeria sim so 3 would get me there faster, but also it’d be fun to write out henry being like “oh. oh my robots are haunted and want to murder me what is happeninG” so.
and then i’m like. do i write just henry’s pov or like. throw mike in there sometimes for flavor
#void says stuff#Live or Laugh Au#michael afton#henry emily#five nights at freddy's#fnaf au#lolbit#i can't decide if sammy exists here lol#LoL's theme song is I Am Not a Robot by MARINA#i wrote a multiverse thingybado from the pov of LoL!Mike#that was the first one actually#never finished it tho#not that i finished any of the three multiverse things ive written. working on one from fnm!sammy's pov rn#i should update but i'm still alive they've been suffering for content since august of 2021 ahaha#or post that almost finished drabble for some assembly required#or update my drabbles i don't update things-
